IC Advancement Post is up, everyone is free to post. Despite how I ended the post, anyone is free to respond, I simply directed Shade's question to Legion. I have summarized the results of your respective tasks in my post, although feel free to add fluff via flashback if you choose to do so.
I alluded to the potential Bockscar/Grack disagreement/conflict, but for the sake of moving the game forward I glossed it over. Rob and Adamu, feel free to flesh it out and implement it somehow if you two would like. Health Notes Note: I assumed everyone rested at least 2 hours, from 05:00:00 to 07:00:00, and made your recovery rolls for you accordingly. For those who specifically were tasked to rest, I gave you 4 hours of rest, from 03:00:00 to 07:00:00. Pragma - You have healed both boxes of Stun. You now have 0 Stun, 2 Physical. Unarmed - You have healed all four boxes of Stun. You now have 0 Stun, 1 Physical. Rob - I assumed you crashed on both the Cram and Kamikaze at 03:00:00. Thus you suffered 12 Stun, or 10 Stun and 2 Physical, bringing you to 10 Stun and 8 Physical as of 03:00:00. After 4 hours of rest, you healed all the Stun, leaving you with 0 Stun and 8 Physical as of 07:00:00. At that point, you could begin healing Physical damage. I rolled a Physical Healing roll for you as well, with the +3 dice from Felix's Medicine roll. Assuming Bockscar does nothing but rest from 07:00:00 November 1 to 07:00:00 November 2, he will heal 6 boxes of Physical, leaving him with 0 Stun, 2 Physical at 07:00:00. Voorhees - I did a healing roll for you too for when Aziz was at the hospital being treated. Assuming Aziz does nothing but rest from 03:00:00 November 1 to 03:00:00 November 2, he will heal 5 boxes of Physical, leaving him with 0 Stun, 0 Physical at 03:00:00. Grendel, Pragma, Unarmed, Vegas - I did not roll Physical Healing rolls for your characters because I figured it was unlikely any of you were in a position to rest for the next 24 hours. If any of you opts to rest for the next 24 hours instead of being active, I will roll for you and post the results accordingly. I think that about covers anything, if anyone has any questions let me know and I'll answer. Oh, and I finally(!) have my home internet back up and running, so expect me to be back at my usual posting pace again. Like I promised, things are starting to pick up...:) EDIT: In case it wasn't obvious, that post was written from Shade's POV. I'm debating whether or not to add it to the journal, since I haven't determined the criteria for what gets added and what doesn't, but I wanted to keep up the whole first person journal POV thing, especially for advancement posts, so I don't inadvertently give too much away. EDIT 2: Rob, I realized that if you crash on Cram, you'll be out for (12-Body) or 6 hours, which means you'll be unconscious until 09:00:00 November 1, just fyi. |

@Winter - you left me off the rest list, so I rolled for my two boxes of drain stun myself. Won't bother you with the rolls - double digit dice looking for two hits. Wiki adjusted.
@Rob - ditto what Winter said - happy to work out a scene anytime you like. Either through regular posting or we could put something together by PMs. Not likely to be pretty, but then we've got the no-killing leash to keep us out of too much trouble! I suppose if you prefer, we could also talk about Grack's methods OOC. But that is unlikely to be as much fun by half. Or we could just let it go for now. No worries on my end - Grack has no clue anyone is concerned about his methods in any case. |

Adamu - That's because I didn't have you down for any damage on my Master Condition Monitor. I probably just missed it because I created that thing as I went along and had several versions of it. Probably got lost in translation somewhere. No point showing me the rolls, pretty much everyone with Stun would have healed it by now.
Everyone - If I left you off the rest list accidentally, let me know like Adamu did and the results of your own rest rolls, if you needed to make them. |

Nevada's counting on the Long Haul she took a day ago to get her through the rest of the day, she'll be crashing somewhere around 20:00 and won't see anyone again till a day later...
Gotta love drug crashes :D |

Everyone - Vegas raised a good point, who has been on drugs as of game start?
I need to know when people are crashing and for how long, since it obviously affects your availability to do stuff, which in turn affects other things as well. Rob, I already noted Bockscar'll be unconscious until 09:00:00 on November 1 above. That includes the impact of both the Cram and Kamikaze crash. |

Fool is totally healed and has gotten laid within the last 24 hours so I dont think his porno btl addiction should be a problem for another 24 hours. Other than that no drug problems here.

Hahahahahahaha, that's right, he was taking care of his addiction while his gang was getting destroyed. Point taken, no addiction worries for Fool for the next 24 hours.
Vegas, you did fine in your portrayal of Shade, that's pretty much exactly what he would have done. Say nothing, look menacing. |

Excellent Smithers.... Seriously, it was just fluff... I leave it in your capable hands as to just how much (how little?) cash the whores made. It'll just sit, burning a hole in Nevada's pocket till Legion requests it again.... no really, I swear it will ;) |

Hey don't knock fluff! Important earth shattering stuff doesn't happen on every single post. That's when fluff comes in, to keep things interesting, fill in the holes in the story, and flesh out the details. Fluff is what makes the game fun, so keep the fluff coming! :)

Umm...what the crap? I even freaking checked the time before I posted that! I just checked again though, and Lindt is correct...dunno what happened there.
Well I believe I didn't actually say the sun came up, just that the smog indicates the sunrise will be lousy and Shade wants to see it. So yeah, just go with it. :) |

Latest IC post was done on Grendel’s behalf (i.e. he wrote it, I just posted it for him). Since his forum access is still erratic, it probably doesn’t account for the latest posts since my advancement post. Everyone who posted already, feel free to edit your posts if you choose to do so in response to Grendel’s post, which, judging from his post, should have come immediately after my own.
E.g. Legion told Grack to take watch, but Adamu has already posted that Grack is heading out the door to get something to eat. Adamu can choose to leave his post as is, indicating Grack is ignoring Legion, or he can edit his post to comply with Legion’s instructions, under the premise that he would have done so if Grendel had managed to get his post up before Adamu. Either way is acceptable. Other posts, such as Fool or Nevada chiming in, can probably be left alone, with the idea that they were offering their opinions immediately after Shade’s question, and then Legion listened and issued his orders in response. Basically just use your judgment as to what changes, if any, you need/want to make since Grendel is always going to be a step slow until he can get consistent access to the forums again, and if you have any questions or thoughts, ask/work them out with everyone else in the OOC thread. |

omg! Fool has been sent out for a third time?? I think Ink and Child should be looking for their own shops and when they find something the call in the crew to renovate.
Does Child have any contacts with a parts distributor/retailer?? Did we steal all the parts we needed to make repairs and shit? if we had a contact we could probably try to fast talk them into giving us some equipment in exchange for some freebie mechanic work. Fool is a reasonably good face. He would be great as the new pimp for the girls. or setting up the deal for the mechanic shop exchange. Or selling drugs/managing the drug dealers. What does Doc need to start making that shit, where can we go to get it. Child is the only one currently with a bike and Fool is sick of riding bitch. |

Abbandon - I believe you may be misinterpreting Legion's orders. When he says 'recon the situation with the bikes', he's not telling you to go look for a shop site, you guys already did that. He's telling you to head to the 405 and check out the possibility of scavenging abandoned bikes like Child mentioned earlier. From Lindt's Dec. 22 post:
He's basically asking to to go as muscle/backup and see if Child's idea has merit. If you're looking for a bike, this is the ideal job for you, because if even you can't scavenge multiple bikes (since there's only two of you and you don't have a truck), if Child's idea is sound then you can at least pick up one for Fool. Does that clarification help make your assignment sound more palatable? |

Not ignoring. Simply can't hear a word he or anyone else is saying, and not even caring enough to be looking in that direction. Of course the key words are that I only posted as far as Grack heading out the door. I will hold off posting further IC for 24 in case anyone is interested in trying to communicate to Grack that he should not go get some food. If not I will proceed - I am thinking some street urchins selling broiled rat or some other delicacy.... I don't expect everyone to read everything on the wiki, so I will point out here that Hammerpack members have Grack's commcode, and any incoming calls IDed as coming from the Pack automatically cut into Grack's earbuds over the music. |

Oh yeah...I forgot Chld mentioned that. Well that definately sounds better. Fool isnt nuts about bikes though, but the excitement of finding them is enough motivation.
I think we should have a shop first though instead of a bunch of bikes we have no place to put. Im not sure if Lindt has a mental picture of his bike shop and it definately is HIS shop as Fool has no real interest in them, but i do have a very vivid mental pic of a bike shop for him.. My mental picture is of a single door garage connected to a house. The garage is on the left side of the house and its all cream colored with maybe a beige/brown door. It has a kitchen, a bathroom. One room is an office/hangout/storefront. The rest are all converted into storage with lots of shelving and parts. One of the storage rooms has half its space dedicated to cots or bunk beds. Child's tool and equipment would be out in the garage. The garage would also have an open cieling and it would be coated with something to make it lined in plastic or something and then in the front and back there would be big ventilation fans both blowing in the same direction to suck air into the shop and out the back of the house to remove fumes and shit. Again Im not trying to take over Lindt/Child's game and make choices for him. I've just had alot of time to think about this game and thats the image I have and wanted to share it since it was so clear. Whether it gets used or not I dont care =) |

Dude, just kibbitzing from the peanut gallery, but it's great to see productive creativity at work. How about one of those world-famous Abbandon maps? Even if it doesn't get GM or Lindt-approved, it could be a place to start!

Mechanic Shop:
http://www.geocities.com/abbandon_unleashe...echanicshop.JPG I really think the garage needs to be double stall but beggers cant be choosers. I assume the barrens are like all deseased and there isnt actually any grass around anywhere or whatever. I just thought dirt looked more appropiate lol. Oh and just a disclaimer: Adamu calls my maps legendary but I just use the default paint program and I know they look like crap, and somebody else may be way better at making cool maps but I can do that level of map super easily and it is good enough to do its job. |

I emailed Grendel to ask him about this, so hold off on posting until I can hear back from him. If don't hear from him in a day or two, I'm going to invoke GM fiat and assume that Legion or Thumper will say something to Grack via his commlink. Legion because he knows about Grack's general inability to hear due to his music and how to get around it, and Thumper because the way Pragma has portrayed him, I think he (Thumper) is still loyal to Legion and will try to keep any tension between Legion and Grack from turning into outright confrontation, which Grack appearing to ignore Legion could potentially do, especially since it's so close to their previous pseudo-confrontation. And of course Thumper also knows Grack is prone to simply not hearing, and would similiarly be used to that and know how to get around it. Of course, if Pragma and Grendel both state they would allow Grack to walk off, I will remove my GM fiat and allow everyone to act as they sit fit. If anyone can provide a convincing counter-argument to my rationale above for both Thumper and Legion, I will also consider withdrawing my interpretation of their actions. |

I heard back from Grendel and put his post up, so at the very least Grack is aware of Legion's instructions to him. Obviously what he does in response to them is up to Adamu at this point.

Dude, dont ever feel bad about stepping on my digital toes. Im really bad at keeping on top of things, especially with my life as busy as it is.
I was planning on taking a look at the quick lube place and with WR1's blessing was going to draw it up as something like a 2 bay gas station type place. |

Lindt - Go for it, but don't forget you still have to secure it. :)
I'm fine with this because even if you guys end up not settling in this turf, you can use it as a nice generic template for another quick lube somewhere else. Incidentally, if anyone wants to drap a map for a cool gang HQ, don't let me stop you. The old 410 Crash game had an awesome gang HQ (an abandoned YMCA) but I don't want to use the same idea twice. :( So if anyone has any neat new ideas for a base, feel free to toss them out or start working on a map template for it. |

A resteraunt would be cool. Turn the whole front into the hangout, divide the space with seating, we could use the refridgerator to hold prisoners or modify the door and use it for a secure storage or something. A tempurate controlled room might be nice for a drug lab or something ??
You know what would be killer. An empty k-mart, walmart, shopko type building. We could knock out and fortify the doors. We could build in a mechanic shop, the drug lab, we could modify and build a section for living qaurters thats two stories high, they have a little resteraunt area built in. And then like a qaurter or half of the store would just be all hang and crash type space. The roof is nice and flat and have lips to them. Hell we could put in a stripper area with alot of private rooms so our girls dont have to go to the customer, they can come to us. Actually im really digging having the 1/4th or 1/2 be a club/strip place. It would be a party non stop. I can envision our boys driving in through the front doors on bikes and into our own little parking lot inside the place/the mechanic shop. |
