Headed out again? Collateral riding wet? Any special precautions, plans or details for the next leg?

i say lets ditch collaterals bike somewhere and have him ride with us, then we dont have to worry about us splitting up. we can come back the way we came if we have to.

QUOTE (Ms Johnson)
deliver it to my agent at a location in Tir at 22:00 tomorrow night. He will only wait 20 minutes

Here is the route information. The team needs to continue south and west towards hwy-161. Once there, travel south through the Salishe. Once they reach Elbe, they can either (1) continue through the mountains on hwy-706 and then onto county roads making the total remaining mileage 65 miles or (2) take hwy-7 to the Tir border and follow the river on hwy-12 making the total remaining mileage 82 miles. Once they reach the river on the Tir border, they will need to cross two miles into the wilderness to the drop off points. There does not appear to be a bridge in the area and earlier team conversation was that it was a bad idea to try and get a vehicle into the Tir.

Sure... think we will just head down the route for now, keeping low profile as much as possible and then, it depends a little on how much time is left, but I would prefer the longer route along the highway, I think.

And when we manage to get there... we really need to think about how to proceed from there (where to leave the car and everything). :)

I agree with Thanee on this one, the longer route should be safer and generally easier going, and we still have a decent amount of time left, so we should go with that if possible.

Also, sorry about the low profile, I still don't have internet at my new place and I have to post from work.

So the team is taking the long way, Collateral on his bike leading the way? Any other details... Thanee didn't seem to like my *assuming* your actions before (both crossing the bridge at the same time) so I'd rather you tell me about your precautions/details.. ;)

Hey, are you reading Aeryn's thoughts or something? :grinbig:

I think I wrote, that Aeryn would lead in the car, but will have to look at the IC again to be sure. :)

Either one leading will be fine. I'm hoping to make a short IC later today, so I'll just put Collateral wherever.

Cynic is snoring along, totally recovered now, waiting to have a teammate wake him up.

RJ how does a sleeping character wake, it's pretty stupid to sleep for just long enough to recover and then declare "Cynic wakes up. . ." for no reason.

Give me some direction here and I'll wake up and proceed.

@Cedric - I'm thinking Cynic would have awoken with all the ruckus crossing the river. He is fully recovered from this drain.

@Unarmed - I hope the move have been (mostly) painless.

@Thanee - I'm Psychic!! :P

@All - I think Satyr had to take his laptop back because of issues.. He is still on TDY training so we will continue and I'll text him for any actions Zion needs, otherwise he will continue with the team's choices. Having plenty of experience on the Tir border, I will insure that Zion provides the appropriate levels of interaction when he has knowledge that would be appropriate.

Ok, I understand the team is taking the longer route to the drop point. It *appears* they want to try to go over land, around Eatonville. Is that correct? Or are they sticking to the roads and trying a quick run through Eatonville?

Yeah, I think the general plan is to avoid Eatonville entirely, if that won't put us behind to the point where we'll be late.
