Drake. I've always dreamed of flying. The "first transformation" bit scares me, though. It could happen at such an inoppurtune moment...

Last I checked we're all out of the womb, so we missed our chance on Elves, Dwarves, and their metavariants (and immortal varieties).

I'd opt for Drake, Elf, or Immortal Elf.

Besides, who is to say that the Awakening doesn't make current humans change into Elves...

Drake would be interesting though. Immortal Drake would be even more nifty.

Maybe Snow Fox is covering ear points with prostectis. Or that guy in your office you thought was a really geeky Star Trek fan...

Human here too.

Mainly because im female, and female trolls are very, very scary. :P

Ive gotten my height(read; short) picked on enough that a dwarf would be annoying. Orks are alright; id be a wimpy ork, but the ork ladies, as the gun expert proves, don't have to look too scary, but i dont think id want to sprout tusks
and have my life expetancy halved.

Though i wouldn't complain too much of an elf i suppose. Not an immortal elf, though. i'd be first on people's hit lists, apparently. Come on now, there's racism against all metatypes, but orks ain't got nothing on the prejudice against the ol' IEs :grinbig:

I'd want to be an elf. And the UGE happened to folks at all stages of life in the original push, including some rather painful failed attempts. It's one of the reasons for the Night of Rage and the metahuman prejudice. Also, I wouldn't say there is prejudice against IE's, since most folks don't know they exist and likely wouldn't care too much since they view elves as mostly immortal anyway.

Though from what I recall elves supposedly never appeared through UGE, they just sorta showed up and pretended they were humans prior. That could just be a faulty memory and my high school GM's interpretation.

Elves and dwarves were born that way. They didn't 'goblinize' at all (even during SURGE).

With the exception of one lone goblinized dwarf in one of the novels.

The elves I can buy, they had a decent story line reason for remaining hidden. What's the deal with the stubbies?

i would be an Elf... shadowrun is the only system i have ever played where i like playing an elf.. usually i would they suck. i think its because they are not inherently arrogant and pompous.
