Something my wife's good at:

Perception (changes in the surrounding environment) ("who moved the hairbrush to the other side of the table?!?!")

More commonly referred to as Perception (Details)

(let me practice my dumpshock(hair-splitting) spec for a moment)

nah, I'd say Perception(Details) is for seeing something for the first time, and noticing the important details. Like a police officer at a crime scene. That thing where you're given a picture to look at for like 30 seconds, and you have to remember as many details as possible.

I'm talking about something where you already know the surroundings, and you can notice even the minutest change.

But that's enough arguing about silly specializations I think (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Heh... Potayto Potahto...

Specializationss are interesting to me, as they are so diverse, and oftentimes, a single specialization can often cover many different interpretations. It was an observation in jest, more than a nitpick...

No worries (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wobble.gif)
Besides, I would use a Memory Roll, in conjuction with a Perception Roll for your example, rather than just a Perception roll...
