The rod pulls towards the direction that Ed just took, down the hall. You move to follow and just as you reach the door, you hear a scream of pure pain and horror come from inside.

Both of your attacks strike true and the code gets ripped appart, but as you do so, the dog reforms into a huge attack dog and the camara falls to the floor then reforms as a monsterous robot that bears down on you.

Blinking a couple of times. Those near by hear. "Aye ya!! this ones not so cute!, Someone be a little more carefull, because this so wasn't me!"

:ooc: And just so you know where each of you is right now, Mo and Maelstom are at the enterance to the host. Thor and Mjolnir are just outside the door to the Da Vinchi room and Ed is inside, getting royally messed up.

Thor looks over his shoulder and sees the Mo and Maelstrom can probably handle the IC thats onto them. Thinking about Ed inside this room worries him, though. Gripping Mjolnir tighter, Thor swings the hammer and bashes in the door to the room before him.

Stunned for a moment, Thor sees Ed before him holding his head in agony. he immediately straghtens up and notices the painting of the Mona Lisa on the wall. Giving a command to Mjolnir to investigate the painting, Thor cranks up his sensors to try and see what might be assaulting Ed.

The command to Mjolnir was to investigate the painting (Sensor Test) and then to Analyze it to determine if it contains information about the Mona Lisa Project (probably a Read/Write) and to destroy it if it does contain such information.

Then, I'll perform my own Sensor Test try and find out what's attacking Ed. -- Sensor TN?: 11 10 09 07 05 05 03 01

The mighty hammer flys through the air and stops in front of the painting for a moment...

As Thor looks around the room, his eyes almost move over something, but then he realizes that it just doesn't quite fit. Hiding under the table is what appears to be a boy, maybe 13 years old, dressed up like a court jester. His attention quickly shitfs from Ed to Thor and he jumps to his feat.

"You aren't supposed to be here! You have no idea what you are messing with you fools!"

Thor's head cocks to the side, "And who might you be, my diminutive little friend?" he asks the icon, trying to discern if it's a decker's icon or just a sophisticated piece of IC.

"My name is not important." The boy starts to hop around playfully. "But you can't have her. SHE WILL BE MINE!"

Thor feels a terrible ache come over him, as if there is a strange static in the host, but he fights against it... shaking his head Thor feels fine.

The boys eyes widen in anger.

Ed rolls over and starts sifting in his bag, and keeps pulling odd stuff, but nothing usefull.

Oh my god. That positioning roll kicked ass. Only problem was that you left out two dice, so I rolled those for you and you got two more successes.

Thor launches himself foward, pulling his fist back, and lands a blow clean accross the Jester's jawline. His head snaps back and his eyes roll. You can hear a mumble of "No..." come out of him as his icon fades out of the matrix.

At the same instant the pain that was wracking Ed clears away and he feels just fine, good as new.

Ed rolls up in a cycle (computer heartbeat) and pulls a nasty looking cattle prod from his bag, only to point it at the empty air.
"F*ck, I wanted his ass in PAIN." Ed then notices the number of books in the room. "Crap, gotta hurry" He starts grabbing books and tossing them over his shoulder into the magic bag.

While Ed gets to work downloading the stacks and stacks of information, Mjolnor comes flying back to Thor to report that the painting is some sort of custom node.

Ed stops grabing the books, and they keeps tossing them selves into Eds open bag. "Ok, files are on their way out. How are the other 2 fairing? And whats with that window?" Ed peers at it with his eyepeice again, wondering whats with it.

The dog starts barking at the Combat Droid and their attention is drawn away from you as they deal with eachother. You and Maelstom walk over to the room, open the door and step inside.

Ed got the files that we came for, but this painting bothers me since it's of the Mona Lisa and we're looking for information about the Mona Lisa project ...." Thor's rambling fades out as he thinks to himself.

Mo takes a look at the node and her eyes widen in surprise. The node is used to activate the window, that much she can tell, but how to do it is beyond her, as the node is highly encrypted. But it does occur to her that the clue might be in the huge ammount of data that Ed is downloading.

At trying to look into her security, the system halts the process.

At watching Mo's reaction "Whats up with it?"
