Not sure if RJ is around or not. Either you or I can NPC him if you want Alex.

He's been poking around. Might just need a gentle blow to the head with a heavy stick

shup.I'm compiling (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) MITNick's already done everything he needs to do. I might compile a couple basic machine sprites, but that's about it.

Yes he was the last to post IC. Right before you posted. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) And I hadn't seen or heard from him in a bit. Wasn't sure what was going on.
Sorry to impune your integrity Redjack. Specially since I'm so flaky (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

I'll prolly do a FF to Uncle Phil's shortly so You can put on your Uncle Phil hat. (Mid fourties, heavyish runnning to fat, prolly bald as a cueball thanks to the Donner family curse {Male Pattern Baldness) Genial without being unprofessional, confident, genuinely likes Steve, but not above using the kid to profit)

The way I always thought conjuring fetishes worked, is depending on what force they are, they add extra dice to a conjuring roll(Conjuring, binding, banishing, etc). Can this not be done in this game? It'd sure as hell come in handy.

I remember the expendable fetishes from SR2 and 3 but in SR4 a spelled in attuned to a permanent fetish and works like an uber-geas for that spell - no fetish, no spell. I simply can't find anything in the rules for Summoning fetishes in SR4.
For now, let's go with a limit of Force 2 for this time with the understanding that I will do some more research. If it turns out that they don't work that way, then we'll pretend that he got a flash of insight or something else equally handwavium. |

sr4 fetishes do not have a force. They simply provide +2dp vs drain. To use a fetish, a spell must be learned with a fetish (causing the fetish to be a requirement to cast the spell). The fetish must then be attuned (Magic + Int (5, 1 hour) to both the magician and the spell. (They are sold attuned only to a spell category [combat, detection, health, illusion, manipulation]).
I do not believe that expendable fetishes converted over. |

I think that RJ is right on this one. I can't find expendable fetishes in Street Magic. The closest I came was Magical Compounds (page 88 in SM). They are effectively magic potions and have some odd effects. I could dream up one that grants life sense if you like.
I asked the question in IC but that was more me than anything else. Are you talking about fetishes or foci? |

I think Ill take the fetish, or potion. Whatevers cheaper considering hes on a budget. The foki is prolly expensive as hell.

Let me know when we're at a point when MITNick can Register a couple of low rating Machine sprites. I think I'd like to get 2 at Rating 2, just in case we end up with some drones or have some machines on sight that could use a more hands on touch.
Also, MITNick needs to disseminate the Satelite pics to the team, so that'll go through once he's finished with Registering his Crack Sprite. |

@fistandantilus
Ok, good by me. Your last sprite was rating 3 (so three hours) and we have had about 1 hour of game time. Go ahead and roll for it if MITNick wants to have a late night. Otherwise, .... well honestly, roll for it anyway. ----- @ All When are all of you getting back together IC? |
