Good week on my end. Fourth was nice. We watched the fireworks in the park and my youngest boy fell asleep. I thought that I would let folks check in before forcing things forward.

Yah I managed to freak my youngest neice out with fireworks on Canada Day. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I'm such a bad uncle. The older one thought it was cool beyond reason. I swear my brother is raising runners. The big one LOVES loud noises and thinks that tackling people is the best expression of love. LOL I love kids.

Sorry about dropping off the face of the earth for the past few days. I had an interview in Houston Monday and Tuesday (same company, different division) and had no internet access. IC should be up momentarily.

Lamentably, no. They were looking for someone with more experience in the job. Once I managed to get over the initial sting, I was able to see it from their point of view. I did talk to the man who would have been my supervisor today and he indicated that he would have hired me if there was a position where they could have trained me.
My current supervisor is encouraging me to keep looking because he knows that I want to do that type of work. |

Invisible Castle is down. I'm spending edge up front to open end the 6's.
Charisma(5) + Con(1) + Edge(4) = dp10 [5,6,5,2,3,6,4,4,6,6] + [5,1,3,2] = 7 hits I love my dice so much more than Invisible Castle.... but my table top crew hate them when I GM.... |
