Fidures. No problem, it really wouldn't make any sense if everyone was the consumate professional. That's why it's nice to have Flash. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
I'd try bargaining or something, but since I came light , I figured I'd just post as matrix overwatch/peanut gallery. Can we perhaps get the details from the folder while we wait? |

As they are paper, your team mates will have to share them, or image link them, or something.

Assuming you rule that the Vision Enhancement/Smartlink on his contacts facilitate video input, he will share the feed into TeamNet.

Oh Steve likes to think he is a pro but he is in many ways still playing catch up. Plus burglery and truck lifting is what he is used to. As well as the now and then short con.
@Alex: Did you get my perception roll? |

I believe so. Did you see the note I put in the spoiler tags under the call for perception test or are you referring to something else I am being a dunderhead?

Sorry for the deley. RJ and I are dealing with all these DS issues. Haven't had a lot of time for other things online. Seems to be slightly slowing though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I missed your post (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) Gracias. Though I did post a Perception/Kinesics roll to see if Miss Johnson is truthful. Didn't I or did I think about it and then forget? EDIT: Nevermind. Comments on my stupidity are accepted with appreciation. |

I completely understand that.
I'll wait a little more IC before they move on. Anything else? |

I just want a little more detail about this.
Of course, for the price offered, we're getting good money for what seems relatively simple. That, of course, is why I'm worried. "Cake run" = Nasty Surprise I'd like to know before we agree if there's something we should know about this kid. I didn't notice if they'd given the targets name yet. Would be nice to run a matrix search |

I completely get that. "Nasty" is always waiting to take you down. No, they haven't mentioned a name yet.
Are you looking for IC or OOC info? |

Waiting to see what's in the envelope, so we have some idea of what we're going on.
I can understand not getting the name before we agree to do the job, so as to not tip the target if we decide to walk and double cross them. That's cool. but if that's the case, then we should have enough info to have some idea of what we're actually getting into/going up against to makesome sort of informed decision. Way I read it, we could be going against anythign from a Super-geek with a good computer system, to Damien Knightt's Love child, who has daddy's programming knack. 'cause they've given us 0 informatino so far (the packet still being an unknown), and that's not enough to get me to say 'yes', especially with the pay this good. Sooo.... what's in the packet? The packet contains a high quality full color photograph (good likeness) with an old school 2-D 'hologram' (a pretty terrible likeness). Included is a class schedule full of notes and a second schedule that appears to be of personal activities. There is also a list of known screen-names as well as a slightly larger secondary list of assumed screen-names. There is also a list of known associates with small pictures next to each.
There is also a simple bio and a small optical chip in the envelope. No one has had the chance to read it yet. |

@Sin: I just realized my last IC to Flash came off rather harsh. Sorries.
@ALL: We done or should we try and up the payday? @Fist: I hesitate to ask due to professional considerations, but Steve doesn't know any better. Also I don't want you burning more edge than you have too. How much info you suppose the PTBs/GM would give us? |

Well I'm limiting my search to one turn , simply beacuse I don't want to waste time trying to make you wait while I data dump to you. The Js woudl certainly wonder why everyone was sitting around reading the air and pickign theri noses. I'm just trying to give more bargaining tools, and give us a better idea of what we're getting into. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Data Search Results:
Timothy R. Stevens has been published in a few peer review journals and as far as you can tell, he hasn't paid for the privilege like so many these days. For as reliable as social networking sites are, he is dating a junior named Melody - no last name. He has sponsored a number of student government reforms and seems to have some pull outside of campus politics. He is opposed by the fraternal (Greek) organizations on campus since he is a GDI from their point of view. He is scheduled to start a new programming project with backing from Saeder-Krupp. It looks to bring a massive amount of investment to the area which may explain why even politicians outside of campus are schmoozing him. |

Double Bingo Care to share your insight Fist? Or Am I missing something? Though it could simply be a continuation of High school anti geek ism. (That is soooo not English) Or are you thinking Miss J has an S-K connect? No no wait, who's a S-K opponent agin? Anyone object to me trying for 6K? I'm throwing in a Con roll. 6,4,3,3,6,6,5,5,2,3,5,4 Six hits. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/devil.gif) |

No I'm guessing that the "Greek Organization" is the interests that the Js are representing, for whatever reason, while the S-K connection (always notorious in the shadows) and the research he's doing, are the reason for the big pay out.
Just a guess. |

Hey Meriss, Ithink you made a bit of a snaffoo.
You're negotiating for 6K, but you posted it as 6K total. They're offering 5K up front, and 10K after the deal, for a total of 15K. RJ, I feel your pain (see : threading and data search (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ) Edit: RJ looks like we posted at the same time. Too bad I wasn't a second faster to prompt you for more data. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |
