Step feeling a touch overdressed? *Grin and nod* Edit: Or rather, I'm feeling a bit overdressed for Step. Step would actually be the sort of person to overdress for something to make herself stand out. She does after all have a deep seeded belief that she is in fact better than everyone else (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |

Flash is in a suit as well. His style is either hide out loud or deep in the shadows; Little in between.

Step's hopes for this job will go right down the drain when she realizes that the ork and troll are supposed to be part of her team.

Just as a reminder, Angel is currently a red headed human. Despite the fact she's thinking in quasi Spanish, her English is pure Alabama.

Good to know. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
In fact, I think some of the characters don't even have a description posted somewhere here (or I couldn't find one). I have seen the picture, Redjack has provided for his char, but apart from that it is mostly some descriptive fragments from the IC. Bye Thanee |

For Angel, think Natalie Martinez as she appeared in Death Race. With pointy ears.

MITNick - dirty blonde haired dwarf sporting a goatee, hair cut short. Wearing a Screamers jacket and munching on an eggroll, or a cigar, or something. Nody language tends to be more pulled in and isolated, not looking many people in the eye. Keeps to himself type.

Hmm, yes, seems I haven't provided any sort of description for Step and yet Zyerne managed to get the general gist of her appearance (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif)

Yep, being more on the skinny side certainly makes sense with those physical stats. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

@Karoline: Low physical stats was what I remembered. Given that 'cute' is in the eye of the beholder, the rest seemed like a pretty good guess. Step is actually only 1 point behind Raven in the physical attributes department. Although Raven's are apparently more obvious (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif)
@Thanee: To my knowledge, never listened to Dutch metal or symphonic metal before. Interesting.. As to the lady in question, she looks like a good fit. Hair is right, which is important, there are no 'change hairlength' powers. @Alex: I hadn't, until just now, considered Assensing vs Facial Sculpt. Do I need a disguise roll? What about Melanin Control? @Redjack: Thanee's assensing rolls made me realise something I hadn't conciously noticed before. Replace 'Good Guys' with 'Mundanes' and I think this could be Flash's song (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

That would require the Masking Metamagics. Bye Thanee |

@Redjack: Thanee's assensing rolls made me realise something I hadn't conciously noticed before. Yep, that was exactly when I also noticed that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Flash is the only non-Magic, non-Resonance character (at least I suppose so). BTW, does Flash have any standard (not alphaware) cyber? Or does Raven see 3 complete mundanes there (the 2 TMs and potentially Flash)? Bye Thanee |

Bye Thanee Melanin Control wouldn't, thinking about it, as you can't tell ethnicity with Assensing as far as I'm aware. What I'm not so sure about is whether Angel has an 'Elven' aura despite her current appearance. Masking mentions appearing as another form of Astral 'creature' which I don't think the metatypes count as and Assensing mentions recognising auras through physical disguises. Facial sculpt is essentially a magical, physical, disguise. |

It's magic... but the effect is physical (it changes your physical appearance, it is surely not a "Mana" effect), and that is what matters.
I'm not even sure a spell like Mask (the Mana version) would work in astral space... while it does not actually change you, as it messes with the perception of others, it does not specifically change your aura, but rather your physical appearance. And that is not what one sees via Assensing. So, even if your physical appearance is that of a human, in astral space you would be visible as an elf (unless you know Masking Metamagic, then you can do something about that). Though, maybe you would need some detailed observation (i.e. Assensing), in order to discern that from the aura, as it might not be immediately obvious. BTW, does SR4A actually say anywhere what auras look like? I couldn't find anything about that... Bye Thanee |
