Hey Kyoto! It just isn't a real character drawing thread until you show up (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

And Thanks Stahseele, I am just going in the order they are presented in the old thread. If I miss anyone, just let me know (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Here is:

Shadowrunner13's Akira

Yeah, only two months late in responding...

I showed the image to the player that runs Akira and he loves the image. Thanks again, Squinky... we're lucky to have ya. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

You can probably expect to see more sketch requests from my players after this. Hope you don't mind...

Awesome, I'll add you here shortly (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Another one form the old thread:

Whipstich'es Cuervo

Hey, thanks, I like it! Sorry I didn't get back to ya earlier with thanks, but irl completely bit me in the ass. The drawing is much appreciated, especially since back when I asked for it I didn't dare hope for color. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Squinky, I've been lurking in this topic for quite some time, and enjoying your artwork immensely. Since you asked recently for more requests, I thought I might queue up.

Over in the Community Projects/800 point characters topic, I have a character by the name of Uncle Zola, a Voodoo houngan from New Orleans. Character description shows up in two posts:

http://forums.dumpshock.com/index.php?s=&a...st&p=736066

http://forums.dumpshock.com/index.php?s=&a...st&p=736326

The shamanic mask and possession should be evident in his appearance. I hope you can do something with him.

Quick update:

I'm still working on a pretty big project, getting near the halfway point soon I think, but I am going to try and make some time this weekend if possible to throw some attention here. Sorry for the wait (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I really miss doing these characters, and appreciate everyone's input over the years, thanks guys!

Oooh, neat.

I'll bite. Have fun with this one, I'm terrible at character descriptions and backstories (because I end up making so many characters that last about 3 months each it's hard to think of stuff), but here's what I've got.

Kingfisher is a male human adept and practitioner of the Krav Maga martial arts--it's great gunfu on the streets: practical and useful (nothing like being able to quick draw a gun the moment shit hits the fan). Blond hair, dark green eyes, and that appearance of bulk: "don't try pushing your way past me" bouncer type. Which is what he does 10-20 hours a week, bounce the door at his favorite club the Cyberdragon. He dresses somewhat conservatively for 2070, plain t-shirt and jeans (and an armor jacket on top: beats lead poisoning any day). Kingfisher isn't your average Joe though, his magical powers stem from his drake heritage. Should the need arise, Kingfisher can shift form into that of a small oriental dragon and engage in melee (or, hell, shoot the bastard, his claws have enough dexterity to wield guns, or better yet: do both!).

Dracoform has similar attributes to the humanform: gold scales, green eyes, etc.

If you could do a dual-sketch of both forms, that'd be great.

Hiya, Squinky! I've been checking out some of your stuff here, and so far I like (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I'm wondering how well you can pull off a sexy Ork babe? Yeah, I do believe that they exist in the Shadowrun world... at least mine does (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

The name's Silver.

She's decked out in a heavy black armor jacket with Or'zet characters reading "HEZ" on the back in jagged red letters, tall black leather boots with heavy metal buckles along the front, and skintight shiny black latex pants resting low on her hips with a big studded belt holding the Ares Crusader machine pistol on her right thigh and the ceramic combat knife on her left hip. The jacket's unzipped, revealing a latex vest of midriff length, matching her pants, that is open along the front with straps and buckles reaching from the open edges to fasten it together tightly around her upper torso. The butt end of a Defiance T-250 is visible over her right shoulder, and the hilt of a katana is visible over her left. In her upraised right hand, from the concealment of the sleeve of her armor jacket and its housing in a gun arm slide, is her modified Walther Secura Kompakt.

Silver's tall and lean for a female by Ork standards at 1.88 m. and 99.8 kg. Her body is sleek, and very well-toned with hard, graceful muscles that stand out a bit more than your average sapiens athlete. She has several tattoos but most won't be visible under the armor jacket, just the black sun outline around her navel and maybe a hint of the tribal briars that encircle her wrists under the sleeves of the jacket. Her hair's a thick, short, blue-black spiky mess about ten centimeters or so in the front, falling slightly shorter along the top, sides and back. Her eyes are where she got her name originally, the irises having a slightly reflective silvery sheen. Her lower canines aren't quite as pronounced as many robustus, but do come out to play when she dons her "screw you" sneer. Her features are a combination of Amerind, Asian and Caucasian, and her skin's a rich, deep bronze.

Would that be enough to get you started? If you need anything else, you can drop me a PM. I'd really like to see what you do with this. Thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

one line to give him an idea of the concept was enough to get inky started . . but sadly, he's been on hiatus for quite some time now . .
but don't fret, as soon as he goes back to his sketchy life, he will do the pictures in order . . and he does churn out between to and 10 per week O.o

I've never been great at one-liners (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

In my experience, most of the artists I've worked with on something in the past have actually wanted me to be long in description, lol.

But all's chill, I'm in no great hurry and I'm certain he'll render a satisfying image in the end and in his own time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

the only thing he's messed up for me was Dust's (my sniper) rifle and even that was close and oddly fitted part of his backstory perfectly. Some thing that I didn't even reffrance in my post.

A movie poster featuring very prominently an image of a doped-up ork chiphead ganger with an SMG in hand sitting on a toilet in the bathroom of a barrens squat, smoking a crack pipe and chipping a BTL. Behind him is half-destroyed wall, blasted out by RPG fire months ago and never repaired. Through the giant hole in the wall and the connected ceiling the audience can clearly see the giant head of tyrannosaurus looming over him, reminiscent of the toilet scene in Jurassic park, but the drug-addled ganger is oblivious to the menace. At top of the poster, the movie title is written in large bold letters. T. Rex: Dinosaur cop The T is punctuated by a Lone Star badge instead of a period.

At the bottom is a release date - Fall 2071.

Thanks for the kind words guys! Although I am surely undeserving they are appreciated (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Wow, this has been awhile:

Kairo's Redcloud

For any who are wondering, I can now explain my adsence:

I have been drawing for a card game called Urban Manhunt, for Spectrum games. It's been awesome and I am glad to have the opportunity (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

For any interested, there is a cool little preview page up here :
http://spectrum-games.com/UMpreviews.aspx

While I am still in the midst of drawing cards, I really do keep this thread in my list of prioritys, so I apologize again (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Something suddenly sprang into my mind... it's not Shadowrun related in any way, but maybe you want to do it, Squinky:

Ozzy Osbourne versus the Lich King

Wanna try?

I love, him Squinky! Well, love is not the right word for a guy possessed by a Snake and coming to rip someone's mind apart... but yeah. And the doll is both cute and scary. Well done. Wait till those folks over in the 800 pt. group see this!

Thanks, Squinky.

I'm working on Kingfisher right now, having my usual difficulty's with coloring, and having my phase where I hate my art (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

But it should be done quickly (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Heh (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Well thanks, I'm sure most folks on these boards know the feeling, since I always assume people here are pretty "creative".

You just get to a point where you hate everything you do, and just want to quit. When I played Guitar in years ago the same thing happened, and I just quit. But I've learned since then to just keep plugging along and it will clear up (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
