I really need to catch up on your fiction. Especially since I got so into Fallout recently, I'll probably catch some things I missed before.

I try to cram in a lot. So probably.

Which, in turn, references other things. It's the circle of nerdishness!

I throw a lot into the stories I've written. Some folks who know Fallout 3 well have gone, "So that's what happened to him!" to me...

I've never played any of the Fallouts (yes, I know I need to), is there anything I wouldn't understand from the fanfic? I do know about the post-apocalyptic bit.

There are a lot of in-jokes and subtle references you might not get, but other than that... It's 1950s retro-style for a lot of things, especially computers (They all are huge systems that use vacuum tubes! The Pip-Boy 3000 on the protagonist's arm uses really, really, REALLY small ones.).

I've had people translate the story in their head from English into their native tongue, never played any of the games, and still love the story.

Well, give my story a read and see what you think (There are, however, some spoilers.). Fallout 3 should be pretty easy to pick up used if you have a console. If you prefer PC, it's $30 on Steam for the Game Of The Year Edition, which has all the DLC.

The original two Fallout games (And a tactical game that's sorta-kinda affiliated with it) is $20 on steam for the whole set.

I have all the old fallout games, but my laptop is borked, indefinitely. I'll look into Fallout 3 and your fanfic when I have the time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/frown.gif)

OK, we've derailed this thread long enough, let's get back to browbeating Squinky into doing more Shadowrun art. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif)

I need to catch up on some things that I have been taking way too long to catch up. I could tell you now that I will do your image, but then I would have to add you to the list of folks that have been waiting way too long.

It's just as well, the image I wanted has since turned into five. Just let me know when you're overwhelmed with free time, and I'll overwhelm you with image requests.

In the interests of impatience, how long is said list?

Having read this thread?
It'd guess between 20 and 40 at least.

Squnky,

Being brand new to the dumpshock forums I saw this thread and would love to get my character done. His name is Oni and he's a shadowrunner in a Seattle campaign I've been playing.

"Oni is a 5'9 skinny elf that has short dark red hair and green eyes. As a Mage and a Shadowrunner he tends to wear a traditional Oni style mask to hide his face. He will usually be found in comfrtable clothes or bike leathers when he is out on a job. Usually can be found with a pistol on his person, somewhere hidden usually. No other distinct markings or other things mark him. Keep a low profile and blast them in the face if they question you."

Thanks in Advance.

Try this thread. That's where his focus is at the moment.
