I beg to differ,
So to me that says pretty clearly that it is not it's own stand alone vision. But a computer generated image of heat perceived by the cyber eye. There fore, no spell casting if the only thing you can see is the persons thermal image. |

Nowhere does it state that the Thermo is 'computer-generated'. Natural Thermo is also super-imposed over regular sight, so why should cyber Thermo be any different? As far as I know, there is nothing in canon to suggest that Thermographic Vision cannot be used for LOS purposes during spellcasting.

My point was is that it is not vision, but a vision overlay. The computer generated was just my theory as to why. But the fact stands, it isn't vision. It is a vision mod.
