Jackhammer mentioned in Ah' short story he recently posted, used by Fastjack. Also showed up in Unwired which I'm pretty sure was a typo referring to Blackhammer. What is it?
JackBNimble this one seems alot like Soulkiller (the soul copying program from cp2020) and maybe mixed with the worm and AI from the crash created AI's and E-Ghosts. Maybe? |

I'm pretty sure Jackhammer is fastjack's custom attack program. It's probably rating 8+ and can attack multiple targets at once and shatters armour programs.
Dunkelzahn "suspected" that JackBNimble was a message from extraterrestrials. If it ever came up, I'd run with that. Having read the same short story (good story btw), I have to wonder about FastJack. Why doesn't he take advantage of some of the anti-aging treatments that are now available? He has to be filthy rich being the legendary decker he is. The other thing that kind of bugs me about the "legendary" runners in relation to normal characters... how does a SR4 character ever attain those heights and stay within RAW? |

Fastjack: Who's to say he hasn't? We know he complains about being old, but we don't know if he's done anything about it. As far as attaining "legendary" status, that's easy. Just max out a skill and linked attribute. There you go, you're just as good as they are. Everything else is public relations. |

JackBNimble, alien communique or not (I think this was D messing with people) operates almost identically to Soulkiller.

And once you have the max'd out stats then you just need to write yourself a custom program which is obscenely powerful and you're set.
Oh and perform some kind of uber hack. Because otherwise how can you be considered a legend? |

Because otherwise how can you be considered a legend? By having a good PR department, of course. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) Seriously, there's thousands of examples across history of people who became famous by vastly overstating their abilities. Even when called on it, sometimes they remain famous. Meanwhile, some people who actually *were* that good remain relatively obscure. It all depends on how the story is told. |
