Brent, how much is it for the spell formula? Its an opposed roll of:

Loyalty + Charisma + Negotiations vs Mike's Charisma + Mike's Negotiations with net hits moving the price up or down by 10% each.

Should I go with the sample talismonger stats and just roll for his side of it to, or do you want to handle that side of the rolling?

Born to a wealthy Parisian family under the name Marie-Élise Chevalier Etoile was always something of a problem child. No matter how much therapy or expensive treatments she had she never could quite grasp the people skills required to fit into the social circles her family moved in.

Eventually her parents gave up on trying to make her into something she wasn't, leaving her to her books and the occasional ballet class. It was about this time, in her mid teens, when she met Jaan.

Jaan was the young German bodyguard hired to work for the family security team. Over the years they spent more and more time together, using self defense classes an excuse to get to know each other. Eventually, despite her vicious and off putting personality they fell in love.

Finally they decided to elope, with plans of starting a new life in America away from her family none of whom approved of the idea of relationships with the hired help. Slowly she saved up funds, sneaking money from her trust fund into a numbered off shore bank account. Sadly the plan was doomed to fail, runners hired by her father came after the young couple on their way to the airport in an attempt to cover up the scandal.

Having been left for dead by the runners during the fight with Jaan she managed to make it to a little out of the way clinic which patched her up and got her on the flight to Seattle. To finally free herself she paid for any records of her old life to be erased and then used the last of the money meant for her new life to have herself fitted with the best 'ware she could afford.

For the last year she's been living in Seattle, trying to run a body guarding service which advertises with the rather off-putting claim that 'Any harm done to you during the contract period will be repaid tenfold in blood'. But alas she lacks the people skills for the job and has slowly been sliding into more shadowy jobs to make ends meet.

Appearance.

Etoile would be rather pretty, if not for her constant look of disdain and the heavy scarring on her arms from numerous stab wounds and the occasional gun shot which she can't afford to have removed. She's lightly tanned and has quite long black hair, worn up and secured with plenty of hair pins and the occasional hidden lockpick. She's got the figure of a ballet dancer and is 5'11�. For clothing she prefers simple understated black items, the exceptions being her moonsilver cocktail dress for upmarket meets and the Ace of Spades style Aces High Jacket done with the bare minimum of the optional decorations provided with it.

Short Personality Info.

Etoile is something of a cold hearted bitch. She has very little in the way of empathy and without her skillsofts would struggle to pick up on even the most basic body language cues. The death of her finance has made her vindictive and hostile towards anyone who threatens her. But to anyone who proves loyalty she's fiercely protective, occasionally to the point where it's almost as scary as her being angry at someone.

Her main vices are an exceptional fondness of unfiltered cigarettes and a love of good red wine (French naturally). For entertainment she's something of a throw back, preferring a printed book over electronic formats.

And I've made two minor changes to her knowledge skills to reflect her background. Mostly that I've reduced two of her knowledge skills (Mercenary Hang Out and Safehouses) by one point each and made them Seattle specific. Then spent the two points on a Poetry skill. Not much use for being a Shadowrunner I know, but I always like to have hobby/interest style knowledges to round out the character.
