I'm considering reprising Granny although she'll need some tweaking to make her RAW.

The build I've thrown together is mostly transport, with enough matrix skill to cover the role if no-one goes full hacker. Not sure I'd really call it a combat character as her DP's are fairly low compared with a specialist and she only has 1IP (although she has the pocket grenade launcher... So maybe that makes up for it.)
I could post it up here if seeing the OK'd characters would help anyone decide things? |

Granny is a Dronomancer so she'll have the Matrix covered and as Missions are set in Denver I was thinking of mixing in some sort of smuggling angle.
I've been itching to customize an Everglades since the Grand Coulee run. Kinda like a poor man's T-bird. I'm also working on an infiltration drone and an overwatch/com's/sniper drone. |

I remember Granny well enough. There was that game which never got off the ground in which you played her and I had a technomancer called Weaver who was a PI type character... Can't remember who the GM was though.

The campaign was called The Last Stand. It had some pretty amazing characters too as I recall.

Granny is good she looks great would love to have her in the game. If I could get a little write up on the advanced lifestyle system that would be great too.
Thanks, Brent |

Granny's transport should mesh nicely in uses with Fusion's tricked out Rover.
The sheet for her is below. I've cut out the prices etc because I've already run them past Brent and it's more hassle than it's worth copying out of the spreadsheet and editing them into an easy to view format. [ Spoiler ]

I tell you what, RAW sucks major ass btw.
I don't know how anyone ever plays a Missions game. The system is riddled with flat out contradictions that have no eratta or FAQ entry. And Dumpshock's search function is a massive pain in the bum too. It won't let you include words of under 4 letters. Good luck on finding any clarification for the ECM Mod from Arsenal. Arrrggghhhhhhh!!!! I'm going to try and slot Signature Masking in instead, despite the ruinous cost and the 14F availability. |

Isn't the ECM mod just like an area jammer equal to the rating you buy it at?

Isn't the ECM mod just like an area jammer equal to the rating you buy it at? Yup. And there-in lies the problem. I've tweaked the build above to buy Signature Masking instead. I've also added Buckaroo Banzai the Bust-a-Move. If we ever do need ECM he can jump off the Tower with his built in parachute and become the sacrificial lamb for every Radar homer within 10 klicks. |

To be honest (sacrificial lambing aside) a high level vehicle ECM system wouldn't be a great idea for a TM anyway. You'd risk dumpshocking yourself every time you turned it on..... And at the very least it would be /really/ uncomfortable for the character to have on.
Edit - Are we using the rules for overmodifying a vehicle? Because if we do get enough use out of these characters for it then Mia's Rover could do with some more slots worth of stuff. Also does anyone know which sourcebook/SR mission pdf details the region? Because I must admit I don't know all that much about Denver. Apart from it being split into various subsections that is. |

Granny has decent ECCM so she can cope.
I think that the ground rules for Missions are that if it's optional it ain't in play. Denver is hard to track down. The borders haven't changed since the Denver Sourcebook. I think Ghostwalker runs the old Azzie sector, I know the Nexus survives Crash 2.0 just fine but I don't know what happened to the Otaku tribes there. I'm just spit-balling that they have welcomed in TM's in the same manner. There's very little that's 4e and everything that isn't is spread all over the shop. |

Here is a link to a post with a Commando pdf. It has the stuff for Denver.
Looking at it we can use optional rules as long as they are from the BBB, we all agree to use them. This is from the missions section on www.shadowrun4.com and the information email we got from Jennifer. Brent |

It's not actually an optional rule, it just requires GM approval according to the Arsenal entry. I was just wondering if Brent would be allowing it at some stage... I know in my offline game I don't (but then again it's because the Citymaster in question is already horrifically customized and making it both a submarine /and/ a zepplin at the same time is just silly)
