Which science does the teacher in your post teach? All of them? Or just one of the big three? (Physics, Chemistry or Biology)
Edit - And sorry for my slow posting this weekend, I have friends visiting and haven't been online much. Only grabbing a short bit of time now because people are on the way back from a shop trip. |

That's fine, everyone seems to have been a bit slow this weekend.
As to your question, she teaches all the sciences. They don't have anything besides the big three, and really they only barely have physics and biology. The school is being funded by a small chemicals corp, so they're hoping to subtly push students towards that profession by that being the only science they really have exposure too. Of course the nuyen going towards the school is a virtual waste, but they can use it for PR as they donate and support education and all that. |

just an fyi: Dryden's currently sitting near Carson and waiting for him to wake up, so that he can foolishly put his life on the line to try to talk Carson into joining them... Son of a gun, this is seeming like a really, really bad idea... *sighs* ah well. Course is laid in, Plan is set, and I'm going to have to roll up a new character shortly, I imagine.
Unless, of course, the GM has someone come and A) drag Carson away, or B) drag Dryden away... |

Or C) Carson doesn't wake up by the end of lunch. If you continue to wait for him and skip classes he continues to fail to wake up though the end of school.

Basically the intention is to try get the things needed for one or two molotovs or something similar. Just incase the crowd meeting after school turns out to be less than friendly (well, that or if Carson wakes up and comes looking for us).
I've left his Taylers request vague on purpose, because I haven't got any clue what is actually in the locker that could be used. |

Well, your most basic molotov is little more then a bottle of gasoline with a soaked rag to light it. More advanced stuff uses basic napalm which requires gas and styrofoam. And if you want to get really advanced you suspend a small amount of explosives in the napalm to get it to fly everywhere when it lights on fire.
Given those credentials I'll assume Tayler is looking for the explosives to give the napalm a nice spread. The napalm itself takes too long to make before the end of school. I'll go ahead and give you your option of getting the supplies for a good number of molotovs or 1-2 frag grenades. |

Well you can also make them from alcoholic drinks too.
Oh and I remember reading if you add sugar to the mixture it clings when it burns. He'll be making the basic molotovs. Because the intention is to have them to hand incase the after school thing turns sour. |

The problem is the chemicals lab doesn't have large amounts of alcohol or gasoline or anything similar. He won't be able to make a molotov in a few minutes with the stuff he has on hand.
As for the sugar... do you know how hard that is to find in SR? I mean it isn't exactly gold, but you aren't going to find any in the school. So, your options from the supply closet are: 1. explosives to make high quality molotovs later 2. explosives to make an improvised frag grenade or two 3. Random other chemicals to perhaps make drugs or some such later on. End result is you get a frag grenade or two for after school, or you get nothing for after school, but stuff for later. Molotovs are not an option by the end of school |

Then grenades it is. Hell I'd take glass bottles filled with strong bleach if that's what would be on hand quickly.
As for the sugar, I never said it was easy to get hold of, simply that it made them more effective. |

Hmm, found the bit I remembered reading on wikipedia.
Thickening agents such as tar, sugar, animal blood, XPS foam, egg whites, motor oil, rubber cement, and washing-up liquid have been added to the fuel, analogously to the use of napalm, to help the burning liquid adhere to the target and create clouds of thick choking smoke. Edit - But anyway lets move on shall we? I don't think it really matters what he makes, so long as it hurts people if we throw it at them. The specifics aren't really something worth holding the game up about, right? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Tink has signifacant chem skills if you need them or if you need a quick container milled or lathed for the grnade. and my armor skill is good enough i could make a detonator while you cook the explosives.

Alright, I'll work on getting together a list of stores and such. It isn't going to be very long though as you are in more of a... 'suburb' then a city proper. Besides the local Stuffer Shack, most of the stores are at least closer to city space.
As for rave locations... you have your pick. Plenty of abandoned lots, some surrounded by various grades of fencing, some not. There is also the old train depot to the east. It has been abandoned, but has several old train cars and a few 'abandoned' buildings (Read infested with homeless) Anyway, I'll get a more detailed listing of what is where for you guys. I'll likely try and get together an actual map of the local area. |

Personally I'd suggest something like a warehouse or maybe (this is probably unlikely) a barn or something. We find a decent location we could potentially turn it into our base of operations.
While the train depot sounds like it has promise the homeless already using it seems a little offputting. They might not take well to us being around (and could steal anything we leave if we set up shop there). Plus in my experience train stations / depots all tend towards being a bit cold and open plan. Although... if there's a tunnel nearby and we could move the train cars into it that'd be a reasonable hideout. Edit - However, given the age of the train cars I suspect moving them is going to be pretty damn impossible. |

Do we really want to deal with the hassle of the residents though?
Suppose we could take a look before committing to the area, see if the place is suitable for our needs. |

Sounds like a plan. And nope Alexei knows a Street Doc, but that's likely to be entirely the wrong kind of drugs.

Not likely to be able to get anything out tonight, but I should have time tomorrow to get a good map together. Future topography aside, saying something to those gathered might be nice. Of course we haven't heard from anders for a while, and would like to be sure we have imput from everyone before moving on. These formative parts of forming the full gang are some of the most important, and will shape opinions on the gang, and philosophies held by the members.
And in case your wondering, you've already managed to set some philosophies. |
