Ok, I feel like an idiot now, I thought that was supposed to be the year and I was just sitting here going "What the hell?!"

Chris

EDIT: In my defense, he wrote it exactly like you would write a date

He's stopped as he's leaving. A very pregnant looking elven woman.

No need to wait for me though. Claymore's only headed to Farhaven, and probably won't get there before Jonny departs. But you never know (well I don't, anyway).

Heh, I was beginning to wonder if someone shot Johnny with some tranqs or something, but he seems talkative now.

So, I figured it was about time that I posted a description a Claymore. Hopefully the rest of you will do the same with your characters.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Claymore

Claymore has been a member of The Ancients for over 13 years, having been inducted into the gang in October of 2057. An adept with a fair number of augmentations, he is a member of the gang's extremely militant initiatory group Ebonvert.

Description

Nathan Sharpe, also known as Claymore, appears to be in his early 20's, slightly younger than his actual age of 27, and is quite good looking, at least partially due to a number of extensive cosmetic surgeries. Despite the surgery however, some parts of his body still bear quite a few scars that tell the tale of his violent life. Nate has a wiry build, though he is slightly below the elven norm in height, measuring only 1.85 meters, and weighing in at 77 kg. His dirty-blond hair is neatly cut in a short yet shaggy style, with a small braided ponytail hanging down the back of his neck. The emerald pupils of his cybereyes are faceted in such a way that they seem at times to emit a gem-like green sparkle all on their own, even when they're not catching the ambient light. His only other visible cyberware is a datajack in his left temple, although other implants are definitely present.

Nate sports a tattoo on his left bicep of a pair of crossed swords with the Ancients symbol emblazoned over the top of them in neon green, with the word 'Ebonvert' ornately written in matching green on a black banner beneath. Another vibrantly-colored tattoo depicting a feathered serpent twisting around his right arm all the way from his wrist to peek over his shoulder, and in yet another, this one on Nate's chest right over his heart, a black cat reclines on top of the words 'Front Toward Enemy' written in small, neon green military script, its tail loving curled in and around the 'F'.

Nathan normally dresses in street-style clothing, his preferred colors being the Ancients' own black and green, with the occasional splash of purple or lavender. Conspicuously absent though, are the multiple zippers, chains and studs that generally accompany this type of fashion. A matched pair of Ares Predators typically hang in twin shoulder holsters, with an assortment of other pistols usually hidden on his body as well. He keeps a pair of Ingram Smartguns stowed in his bike for emergencies, and has been known to occasionally wear a full combat rig, with an additional Predator strapped to each thigh.

Outlook

Nate is a survivor, having learned very early that life is hard on the streets, and that there is always another unpleasant thing that needs to be done. He has grown up cold and untrusting, with something of a vicious streak. Consequently, Nate has no problems at all with pulling the trigger, or doing whatever else the situation demands whenever the need arises. On the other hand, he can sometimes be a little over-protective of people whom he considers to be under his care, and has been known to take an interest in the affairs of the less fortunate elves stuck in the slums of Tarislar. Nathan is an impulsive thrill-seeker at heart, and has been known to jump into things before taking full stock of the situation. Although usually pretty easy-going among other elves, he tends to be rather more withdrawn around other races, believing them, especially orks and trolls, to be lower on the evolutionary scale. Nate absolutely despises the Spikes, and any encounter with members of the troll gang would probably result in violence. He very rarely fails to complete his ritual daily exercise and kata regimen, and when not working out or tinkering with his guns, Nathan usually spends his time at nightclubs and ganger raves of all kinds, but he can be equally contented when curled up with the latest firearms e-magazine or Ares catalog.

I'll post a write-up of Haven soon, but I really want it to be good, and I've got some crazy make-up stuff going on with college right now. My migraines hit me especially hard for a 2 week spell and I've got to play catch up in O-Chem, Comparative Vertebrate Morphology, and Ecology. Yay!

Oh yeah, been meaning to ask and now it actually matters for my next post, did the previous game happen or no? I'm guessing no since Tain doesn't seem to exist anymore, but I figured I would ask because my response will differ a lot of Vixen is dead as opposed to alive.

Playing this out as if the previous game went down. Tain exists, he's just busy with other things. So at this point Vixen is dead.

Heh, no kidding. Alright, well then, that changes my answer to Johnny, somewhat.

Oh, also, beyond just enjoying speaking to him I'm trying to stall Johnny with beer and conversation until he says he has to go or lets me help him contact everyone else(or tells me who everyone else is). So, Claymore may have time to get here before Johnny leaves, I don't know exactly how far he was from Farhaven.

If you're purposely stalling Johnny until Claymore gets there, you'll be able to . The guy talks like there's no tomorrow. That's why it's funny to have him tell you not to gab about so much. The guy is freaking deadly in a fight, but he's also a braggart and a loud mouth.
