It has my cal poly id on it, and a geek squad flash drive. Also, it has a blue string or whatever it's called with the name mustang village on it.

Hey, could write out an agent script like on page 69 of Unwired?

So long as it can wait 'til this weekend (as in, after Friday's game), sure.

By the way, as I said before, I may be late to game on Friday. Commuting to & from San Francisco is icky.

Any word from Nate, Jason?

Edit: Nevermind, I found it. And it's one of those obviously hidden places too. *Insert curses here*

Stop Bickering- or you will both get TLE-x from your move-by-wire.

Also!

Unwired Errata is out!

The good news is that Hacker Written and Open Source programs don't degrade.

The bad news is Agents cannot have their access ID changed.

The Even worse news is that the Profession Autosoft is restricted from using skills that "
require creative ability and sophisticated decision-making"

No. Agents can no longer have their access IDs spoofed. The ID can still be permanently changed (pg. 111, Unwired).

Would the Adaptability autosoft help get around that? Or failing that, agents are already capable of using Hacking. Would an agent still be able to utilize such a "sophisticated decision-making" autosoft?

Emphisis on the Creative.

Agents Cannot create new code.- They Can patch cracked code, however, by going out and finding the patch, and stealing it. This, however, runs the risk of bringing security down on your head, especially GOD.

Granted, it takes a while to write code. Asuming you and Andrew/AI dude, work together on writing code.

You are working together, with a Rating 5 Software suit, and a Nexus Programming Suite.
Andrew Aids and Adds 5 Dice, So you are rolling Logic+Software+10. Rushing the Job, and Nexus brings it down to 1/4 interval, so hacking programs are down to a Week, with a Threshhold of Rating x2, so say 12. Assuming a Logic of 5 and Software 5, you net about 6 hits when you roll, so about 2 weeks to write a R6 Hacking program.

I would like to point out that errata note specifically says it's up to the GM. I'd hope you wouldn't say that the laws of the universe were rewritten, causing my monkeys to be unable to perform the function they were created for. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif)

They still do the job that they were created for. Now they just do it in a different way. I'm willing to let them funcion as a Nexus Programming Suite, which haves the time it takes to program something

Freaking typo. Anyone know if you can change your display name and how?

Anyways, how much time do we have between now and landing in Neo Tokyo? Can I get/mod my new bike before then?

You have about 3 days between the Kowloon Walled City massacre, and your flight out to Neo-Toyko.

From HK to NT takes about 3 hours.

Also, It turns out that I had the list of mods on the skytrain. It was on the same sheet as the Isaurus's Stats

It has, in alphabetical Order
Default : Extra Entry/Exit Points, VTOL

Addition Fuel Tanks
Amenities: Middle
Chameleon Coating
Flotation
Improved Sensor Array.
Life Support Level 2
x2 Full Mechanical Arms
Signature Masking 6
Special Equipment: Signature Spoofing Equipment
Vehicular Tag Eraser
Weapon Turret: Reinforced, Internal, Turreted Mounting a GE Vigilant Light Autocannon.

Thus All 30 slots are used.

So, No the Skytrain did not have Armor.
It didn't have Slots for Armor.
I beleve the Idea was not to put it in position to be shot at.

That's more than enough time to Initiate and to modify my new bike. I assume you can just pay for a few hours at a shop, or do I need to make arrangements?

Oh, and now that we've been ambushed, Dark Talon is much more relaxed for the next 2 days. Still paranoid, but it's like an anxious smoker finally getting his fix (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif)

Yeah, you can rent shop space for 25 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nuyen.gif) per hour. 100 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nuyen.gif) / hour for a facility

Also, you can change your logon name. I just don't know how.

Display name is different from logon name. Still, not sure how to change it, besides contacting the admins or starting up a new account. (Might want to contact the admins before you do that anyway)

So, Tokyo. You guys know how hard it is to get guns into that place?

Right. So my character is going to direct you all to some Jackpoint articles on running in Tokyo and strongly suggest that you read them, and prepare accordingly.

And by Jackpoint articles I mean the section in Corporate Enclaves.

Meanwhile I'm going to use the Dryad's ware contacts and/or my contacts in the Watada-Gumi to get another Projectile Cyberspur implanted with personalized grip and ceramic/plasteel components 3.

As for description, since I didn't go over this before, I'm saying Johnny got them installed so the spurs come out between his thumb and forefinger, giving him a more sword-like grip and allowing better control and familiarity.

I also want to sell off my reaction enhancer and replace it with a Suprathyroid Gland, as well as pick up a Nanohive and rating 6 Trauma Control System nanites. Also, could I get a nanoware system dedicated to doing the regular cancer-scraping required by my character's uncontrolled metastasis? It mentions regular nano-treatments as one of the options, and since I'm getting a nanohive anyway I figured I might as well make it rating 2 and not risk missing a treatment again. It's certainly the kind of thing my character would look into, and I'd still have to keep the hive supplied with feedstocks.

Another question: What kind of access to activesofts and weapons does our group have at the moment?

I'm looking to pick up a few rating 4s in various areas that need filling out, and I'm still debating ranged weapon choices. Might go with an HK Urban Combat if I can get it. If we can finagle access to the Foundry that'd make getting our weapons much easier, or we could just have our fixer in Japan supply them for us.

I highly recommend everyone on our team with skillwires pick up a top-rating Japanese Etiquette activesoft, it could mean the difference between getting paid and getting shot. Barring that, please shut the hell up for until we're safely out of Japanese airspace. Seriously, it's that bad.

I'm probably going to leave my machine-gun and grenades in the plane. It's extraterritorial now, so anything we don't want to risk trying to sneak past customs or getting caught with on the streets we can leave in there and it'll be fine, dandy, and unsearchable. Probably want to have Toast keep the plane on lockdown just to be safe.

Finally, I'm selling off my cyberware and motion scanners and upgrading my glasses with ultrasound and ultrawideband radar, and picking up some thermal smoke grenades. Depending on the legal climate in Japan, I might try to take those in with me.

The book isn't too clear on how something like smoke grenades would be viewed, they're not exactly offensive, but definitely kinda' suspicious. My character would know how feasible walking around with some TSmoke grenades under his jacket would be, so I'm looking to the GM for insight here. If it's too risky, I could just go with flashpacks instead.

Again, if we can use our contacts to get some weapons from inside Tokyo, that would also help tremendously. My 3/11 Watada-Rengo contact should help there, but that won't get us into the Foundry, and I'm dying to get a crack at that nanoforge. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Well, techicly it would be Dark Talon pointing you the Jackpoint article.

No grenades. Blades are the only things that are ok, as long as they are not concealed.

So, you guys want a crack at the Marcoforge, or Shiangiri, Inc.?

Oh, you mean I can wear Akaitsuki openly? Awesome, I was hoping I wouldn't have to leave my best weapon behind, and it's a little big to conceal.

And I was referring to The Foundry in Ikebukuro. (Corporate Enclaves P. 90, first entry under "Black Markets") If we could get access to that, it'd solve the problem of having to smuggle our weapons into Japan--though I wonder what's behind them...

[edit] ...having access to Shianigiri would be nice too, actually. The things I could do with delta-ware. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

What did you guys do with the Cargo freighter that you took? I was doing some math, and it might have more space than your garage.

It also would be legally yours, as you Salvaged it, and the owner was dead.

It's cargo deck is also barly big enough to land your skytrain on.

and it would only take 360,000 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nuyen.gif) to turn it into a submarine. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grinbig.gif)

We're NOT turning it into a submarine. I'm the only one with that kinda cash, and hell if I'm fronting that much money! I gotta get my 10 million (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nuyen.gif) so he can retire!

Also, in the week downtime, I'm gonna get and mod by bike (I figure we got the freaking hell out of Hong Kong after the ambush on the runway, poor citymaster).

Dark Talon will also do some studying while we have the downtime, trying to work on some of his active skills.

Oh, and what about having those shops and desktop forge installed on our boat? How do we go about doing that? Can any of our black market pipelines get us a discount on those?

Can Garett find some way to spoof extraterritoriality on our freighter?

it would only cost 60k to be able to take it down to 100 meters, the 360k would be for diving down things as deep as the laurentian abyss (8k meters)
