Ever since the debacle with the exploding sewer system, I've been my team's resident evil genius--the guy to go to when you need a ruthlessly evil and hilarious way to get the job done.

On a recent run, I outdid myself...

...in the evil department.

Our job was to blackmail a wageslave who worked for the Seattle governor's office. Not wanting to go through the trouble of digging up dirt on the subject, we had our hacker fabricate a very convincing troll-on-human gay porn sim staring our poor wageslave as the human. To ensure the target's compliance, we left a copy of the sim in his headware comlink along with an advanced agent program. The agent would watch him 24-hrs a day, it's icon periodically walking into his field of vision and staring at him, sometimes bringing popcorn.

If our mark attempted to call the police, or failed to meet our employer's blackmail demands, the agent would force him into full-vr and run the sim.

It was a brilliant plan, and worked perfectly until the mark snapped and tried to call the star while being chased down the highway by us and the Yakuza, with both sides locked in cybercombat for control of his car. It was also the first time one of my plans left me feeling a little dirty.

Of course, that didn't stop me from making the quote of the night:

"Two words: 'Demal Deposits.'" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smokin.gif)

That's pretty bad...not the worst thing I've seen players do, but pretty bad. Aside from hunting down the last member of a small gang and killing them so they don't spread the word that we got the rest of the gang killed because we gave them faulty information about the security of a facility we needed a distraction on, I don't have too many really evil shadowrun stories.

I have a number for 7th Sea though(old pirate based RPG, focus on swashbuckling and drama)

Well, there was the time we ripped off a Mitsuhama black research facility, slaughtered a gaggle of captive technomancers MCT was experimenting on, executed all the researchers, and then blew the place to bits...

...or the time we got 9x9 to launch a series of major attacks in downtown Honk Kong, knocking out communications and tying up police and traffic, while we dosed most of the business district with Warp and set off a major rooftop firefight between the security forces of several neighboring buildings--all so we could rob a bank.

We also kinda got Kowloon bombed by Knight Errant during the getaway.

But blackmailing poor Joe Wageslave with faked gay troll porn, and then forcing him to hotsim it so he'd know what would happen if he didn't do what we said--that was basically rape. By a troll. Felt kinda' bad for the guy when he tried to call the cops and ended up spending the rest of the run in hotsim getting pounded by 'Dermal Deposit Dan'. Even worse considering the guy was anti-metahuman and the emotive tracks were programed to make him like it...

>shudders<

...yeah, sometimes my capacity for horrific cruelty disturbs even me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

How do you record a porn sim from the POV of some-one who didn't actually contribute the emotive and sensory tracks?

Not record, forge. It was part dubbed, part digitally fabricated. The rolls came out *really* good, so the GM ruled that it was "very convincing" despite the source material. Fortunately we had an army of agent programs to build the thing for us, so the hacker didn't actually have to track down gay trollporn sims and pull the sensory tracks out himself.

By using the tracks of someone who did. No wonder Rad's character felt "dirty" afterwards. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/silly.gif)

I remember during our last run my character goes into the local stuffer shack orders a pizza, puts it in the microwave with a rifle grenade and walks out. The same time our hacker breaks into Gridlink and causes it to go haywire for the area. Not a scratch on the car, but alot of KAOS and KONFUSION. The opposition did take our team member and we tracked them down to a wrecking yard. It was a race to beat the opposition in not preventing his death but who would be first.

We turned the drones in the wrecking yard from making metal trash to human trash. Our hacker gave the captured team member (our soloing mage) a monosword seppuku, while I gathered his kit and dumped him and the kit in the incinerator. After the opposition was killed we crushed all the cars and incinerated the bodies. Nothing evil just business.

What about when the GM pretty much penalizes you for not doing something evil. We were once overwhelmingly ambushed by another runner team because we didn't kill a small mexican child. We now have a standing rule in our group that all small mexican children are shot on sight. We've not seen any mexican children...yet (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

A character of mine is hell bent into destroing the life of a humanis who raped her in past, she hasn't decided yet what to do but one of hers (discarded) plan was infecting his children with HMHVV; she dropped the idea because difficulties in controlling the outcome and because the risk of getting infected herself

Group I'm in is pretty straight laced, even going so far as feeling bad about killing people actively trying to kill them. The worst thing that has happened was when my char was getting answers out of people via dental torture.

The old fashioned approach often works best for us. Good pair of pliers + strapped to a chair - teeth = answers.

I take it back, the worst thing we've done is run a lengthy, cheesy, horrible work seminar to cover for our infiltrator nabbing information. Those things are nothing compared to dental torture.

in a recent past game, a PACIFIST took the shoe off a teenage punk/ganger/wantabe-porn-king and proceeded to beat the kids"junk" asking the question for like the 10th time. then when the punk didn't answer, he said "I am a pacifist and I am beating your junk. what do you think those to psycopaths are going to do....". the girl next to the punk answered the question out of fear....

and NO it wasn't me.. I was the gm.

My group was trying to do a standard corporate espionage/datasteal thing, and I was playing the Mystic Adpet Hacker. I slow hacked into the company's dummy site to find the real datatrail, and the dummy site was just that: nothing.

So I filled it to the maximum limit of Troll-on-Elf pr0n.

A little later we were running through the area and the group questioned someone who turned out useless to us... So I hacked their head'link, and filled it with Troll-on-Elf pr0n.

How would you have prevented the target from using another comlink to contact the police? What if your mark triggered a full matrix inspection of his own node by "doing some illicit deed"? The presence of agent+program load on a comlink is pretty easy to discover.

This probably wasn't a stroke of genius, but it was definitely evil.

"So, the fighting inside the museum has drawn a crowd of curious people. What do you do?"

Nearby Dwarf Sam: "I toss a grenade into the crowd."

There's no such thing as "too evil".

But the groups I've been a part of have never been particularly evil, just obstinate. We frequently got tired of looking for other solutions to things and would start shooting at the smallest provocation. We always left plenty of dead bodies in our wake. We never meant it to be evil, but I suppose the actions were.

i had a pretty evil idea for bringing about the change from SR3 world to SR4 world, because i don't like the whole terrorist thing all that much . .
basically, i wanted to start a world wide corp war. I would have started by trying to get some leverage on the Corporation Microdeck and especially on William T. Gates Jr. the 2nd. Then use his l33t allmost otaku like matrix skills to break into the bigger corps systems and leave traces pointing at every other bigger corp aside from microdeck so they would start destroying the matrix with their electronical warfare . . in the End have the strongest leads point BACK to microdeck so they all go omega on them and then have it look like Microdeck was just a font for technomancers and AI's trying to do WHATEVER . .
All the while the characters were supposed to utilize their insider knowledge of what is REALLY going on to make BIG BUCKS by buying stock in certain corporations untill the nano second buyout looks like childsplay.

yes, i thought of this after Micro$ucks closed down Shadowrun Online MMORPG in favour of thei Shitts shooter, why do you ask?

A character I was playing killed a mark by seducing and marrying him (the character was female) and planting a block of C12 on his forehead with a motion detonator and "Don't move." written on the ceiling after the honeymoon night.

Most twisted thing a player of mine ever did I think is buy some slaves while running a job in Europe. He brought them home and used them as his harem. They had been mentally broken and programmed for service. He payed a pretty penny for them.

So.. a while ago a friend figured out that since Penile Implants take up "Capacity" properly twinked you can have a max of 86 penile implants as a starting 400 bp character. Possibly more depending on PQ's and such. We had a lot of fun with the imagery going so far as to name this "Character"

While reading this thread a thought occurred to me..

By day "Dermal Deposit" Dan (or Double D for short) is a world famous Troll porn Star. By night however..he is SCROTAX! The Impregnator, defender of Truth and Justice.

1000 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nuyen.gif) for the person that can name every reference (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rotfl.gif)
