Using analyze to do a more in-depth search for the missing database. I assume that buying two successes is not enough, but assume Malloc.I spends one action trying that, first, then I'll search again, rolling this time:
[5,5,2,5,1,6,6,6] = (6) Holy crap. Okay, if that can't find the file, nothing I try will. So, whether or not I find that file, Malloc.I might as well continue trying to disarm the other two bombs (hoping that they roll worse than the first one apparently did). |

Proceeding with defuse attempt #2 from before (2 hits). Assuming I will fail again (since 2 didn't cut it last time) and if that is the case, I would like to verify that there is still no increase in available storage-space, and that Faust-6 is now quite a bit larger (roughly 3 times what it started as?).

Is this before or after either or both of the attempts to disarm (and subsequent triggering of) the datafiles?

Starts immediately after the second disarmament. You could refrain from disarming the third, if you like.

Buying two hits on matrix perception for the node.
If possible, I would like to get a list of new processes that are suddenly eating up the available response. I'm not sure if that's one question or 2+ (depending on how many things are running). |

So, after that last access, does Faust-6 disappear? If so, do I see the same phenomenon where the overall space usage remains the same? Is there any reaction from the horn, or the three currently-decrypting-databases?

Space usage remains the same, and all of the effects of Faust-6 have disappeared— except your drinking horn. No reaction from much of anything.
The ARO title for the ooze is "Passgoo". |

Bump to see if someone in the real world wants to interact with the ARO.
Also, can Malloc.I see/interact with it from the node? Buying to hits on analyze test to try to determine what it is. The title sounds like it would be useful - but I'm not sure how. |

All you see is the driver access. You want to try to follow it?

I'm not quite sure what that amounts to in game terms - but why not? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
So far, none of these "booby-traps" have been outright malicious. They seem to be leading up to something. Another question, have the sizes of the the 3 decrypting databases gone up? It seemed as though every time I "detonated" one of the non-encrypted databases, the code from that database fled into one of the others - and having detonated the last of the booby-trapped ones, I am curious where it fled to this time. If it fled into one of the files I am already decrypting, that is awesome, if not, I assume it went into this "passgoo" ARO, so messing with it seems like the next step towards the goal of finding and decrypting that data. |

IIRC, Rose is flying back and forth trying to find the target.

And Dancer is still outside, getting ready to either back Rose up, or cover the team's exit, whichever happens.

No increase in size in the decrypting files.

Good to know. Still planning to access the Passgoo driver and see what happens. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) At least until the team retreats and starts exiting the scene, Malloc.I is planning to play around on their servers while he waits for the half of the data he thinks he might be able to get to finish decrypting - but you said that would be in terms of days, so he will have a lot of idle time. Sounds good to me. I was mostly chasing down digital threads while you guys decided what to do IRL - but Malloc.I has eaten up more than his share of time for a while. If I understand correctly, the Passgoo being an ARO means it can be seen overlayed in AR - so maybe someone will do something with that, or you guys can just start evacuating.
