Allright, Kevyn, since you were paying attention, you notice that after the unit was attatched to Helga's pocket computer the guy at the counter looks at your table pretty intently. He could just be bored and stupid, or he could be memorizing your faces...

Nope, Kevin. You don't recognize him. He's a U2 (Upright Uptight) citizen. However, he was on the phone while Helga was looking at your pictures on her computer...could he be...naw, not a geek like him...sqealing..?

Hmmm...I always thought your astral reaction was higher. Don't ya add 20? Or is that just for spirits?

Okay, the elemental got 18 successes on it's surprise test. Ha ha!
So, unless ya got 19 or more, ya got no dice pools with which to resist the 8M flamethrower ya just got nuked with! |

Oh, I forgot to do the Damage Resistance Test silly me.
Okay, I rarely ever play Shadowrun TT so let me see if I still have the rules down. I have an Astral combat pool of 8, using that for the damage resistance. Damage Resistance (TN 8)- 02 01 02 02 01 01 01 09 04 07 05 20 05 03 Mehhh... 2 Success. Oh snap. That means I'm screwed. |

Actually, if ya rolled in that order then you're ROYALLY screwed! No dice pools due to surprise! I will allow you to spend a point of Karma to be at 9 boxes of damage, but it will be burned...gone...finito...no refreshing! |

So did we lose the team karma point from tanka?
Also, would you consider opening up the game to another PC? We could use the extra firepower especially since we now have both our spell slingers on injured reserve. Just a thought. I see this through either way... :) |

Okay, Dub's initiative is 21 (that includes the -3 for his wounded state).
On his initiative, he will cast manabolt at 6D. He will use both foci (manabolt and combat) and all spellcasting and Spell Pool dice for casting it, saving only his Totem bonuses for soaking Drain. The Manabolt: 22 10 7 7 7 5 5 5 5 4 4 4 4 3 3 2 2 2 2 1 1 1 1 1. He has +3 to his Target Number due to his wounded state. Drain: 14 10 9 4 4 4 3 3 2. Well, the offensive rolls could have been better... glad I cast it at D. But he miraculously soaks the Drain! Of course, if this thing notices him and beats his initiative before this goes off, it will be a moot point. |

PG. 172, Shadowrun, "Returning to your physical body is an Exclusive Complex Action." There ya go. If one of ya can find someone willing to play one of your characters' level 2 or level 3 contacts, that's how someone else can be brought in...'cause I don't see any runner wanting within 100 meters of you marked men otherwise! Happy hunting. Dub got a good shot in with his manabolt! |
