Remember when the posts are only seconds apart to not make actions that will span a few minutes.
This will lead to utter chaos. |

Biotech-check (first aid):
[ Spoiler ] Lets move time forward say 5 minutes and exit the lodge through the same way we came in? -EDIT- OMFG Trauma patches have a street index of 4! A replacement is gonna cost Kliko (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nuyen.gif) 2000!!! Ah well, it helps for our karma. And who knows, if we screw up, we made a friend on the inside... |

You mean a replacement is gonna cost Bubba 2,000 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nuyen.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grinbig.gif)
He did smash him with lots of successes at 14 M Stun against no helmet on the mage. |

Nah, the stim-patch Kliko has for Bubba is a lot of a heck cheaper
[ Spoiler ] ... Remember that the teammate with biotech is your best friend! Its always amazing how the rules state that clubs or bare knuckles do stun damage. Wtf, you're getting hammered by a giant! That can't be a good thing, ever... period. Feel free to move forward in time. We'll be exiting the same way we came in and break the maglock on the door of the room we put the unconsciousness guards in. |

QUOTE You mean a replacement is gonna cost Bubba 2,000 nuyen.gif grinbig.gif Well I meant that he would have to pay for the replacement, since he smashed up the mage's head real good.Bumped you guys ahead... in doing so I NPC'ed you a little. Let me know if you find it out of character and I will edit. |

Kliko is likely to need more time dragging the unconsciousness guards into the room Bubba found the spellslinger. This should give Bubba somewhat more time to complete his hush-hush clean-up.
Otherwise Kliko would help Bubba out on the hush-hush clean-up. Now we better hope we're out before whatever mojo is going on hits the proverbial fan... -EDIT- Bubba and Kliko bail out as soon as RG gives the warning on the astral V better put a new concealment spell on us... I will edit the times - and my post.
I have edited the post again to include Kliko's interaction and to swap some event orders per your suggestion. |

Bastard,
Feel free to move on with IC-thread. I picked this route since skiing fom Helen Lake (Green Butte Ridge) appears possible with our type of skillset/levels. I just don't think our team will make their willpower-check when they would attempt to ski-down from Thumb Rock... |

Or skill check.
Remember, even if it is a novice course, doesnt mean EVERYONE can do it. It is not like throwing and catching a ball. It is not just a matter of having basic athletic skill/eye-hand coordination. Otherwise you can assume anyone with a basic athletic skill can do a simple ballet, simple figure skate routine, hockey stop, hit a AA level fastball, swim a 100 meter butterfly, throw a knife, ect, ect, ect. EDIT - I have posted the IC, but I need some rolls before I can continue. Kliko - Roll two Athletics Tests for the quick decent down the hill - Combat Pool allowed for these - split between both Roll your Survival Check (Body, Quickness/Athletics, Wilderness Survival) Roll Wilderness Survival Synergy to assist team Bubba - Roll two Athletics Tests for the quick decent down the hill - Combat Pool allowed for these - split between both Roll your Survival Check (Body, Quickness/Athletics, Willpower) |

Quite correct on the skiing, but it would be lame to diverge from our original skiing adventure.
2x Athletics-check (max combat-pool = skill level): [ Spoiler ] Body-check: [ Spoiler ] Athletics-check: [ Spoiler ] Wilderness survival-check: [ Spoiler ] Wilderness synergy-check: [ Spoiler ] -EDIT- Just out of curiosity, what type of gun is RG carrying around? |

2x Athletics-check (max combat-pool = skill level): Both successes[ Spoiler ] QUOTE Body-check: Neither test resulted in reducing your Wilderness Survival Target Numbers[ Spoiler ] Athletics-check: [ Spoiler ] QUOTE Wilderness survival-check: Success![ Spoiler ] QUOTE Wilderness synergy-check: Fail - No help for Bubba [ Spoiler ] QUOTE Just out of curiosity, what type of gun is RG carrying around? It is a weapon your character does not recognize. Take that as either you failed a GM knowledge roll, its not a common weapon, or its customized, or you did not get a good look at it, etc, etc, etc.I will update the IC as soon as I get sneaky's new ath roll |

You can only roll as many Combat Pool Dice up to equal your Skill So with you Athletics Skill of 3 can only be matched with a maximum of 3 Combat Pool Dice Please reroll this test. My athletics skill is 4. I just miss calculated the rolls. should have been 8 and 7 not 7 and 6. I was doing this 5 minutes before I left work and quickly... anyhow I will just add one die on to each even though rerolling would be more beneficial. I edited above. |

Leadership-check to boost morale! :
[ Spoiler ] Ok, best to rope up and continue the route after a short rest at Thumb Rock. We'll hike the Green Butte Ridge down to the Broadway and put our skis on to descend the Broadway. Going through the Heart sounds as a bad idea due to risk of avalanches (there's a very big avalanche right on the satellite image from google maps...) |

Due to your leadership, everyone will get either a box of stun back, and a -1 to non-combat modifiers.

QUOTE Any idea how long it takes to descend from Thumb Rock to the start of the Broadway? QUOTE (bastard) (Link to post 77 in the OoC) Green Butte Ridge is now the main road to Hestaby's Lodge. The road breaks from the Everitt Memorial Highway at Bunny Flats (a now popular ski area, where you all practiced yesterday game time), follows the Broadway Trail and then along Green Butte Ridge. Are you sure you want to take the main road down? Mount Shasta Trails |

Argh! wasn't aware of that.
Ok, lets go through the Heart and down to Helen Lake. We should end-up just below Horse Camp. Casaval Ridge would have been a safer option (avalanches-risk) but this way we don't have to sneak our way past the ranger-station at Horse Camp. |

Argh? I wrote it and had to spend a day searching the OoC and IC for it! Blarg. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grinbig.gif)
Feel free to make some IC posts... I will look up my information on that trail and find my notes. (My desk is getting messier by the day!) I will try to have it up tomorrow! |

Ever had one of these occurences where you right your IC and at the last moment accidently close-down your firefox?
Ah well. Bastard, feel free to move us further down until we end up at the parking place or need to make skill-checks again. Mountain descends are best experienced first hand instead of me having to romanticize them (and doing a poor job at it). |

Thats a nice picture, shows you immediatly why at first I wanted to for the Green Butte.
Could you give me an indication on the base tn's involved for the descend? You're making a good job of making me switch routes... again. |
