As for the ritual sex geas, I actually did that for my 800 BP drake adept, "sex with a willing partner while in drake form." Mainly because it made me giggle.

Oh, that character had a girlfriend who was also a drake. Never finished her 800 BP build though, I should revisit it (illusion mage, mmm Trid Phantasm and Orgasm...).

Unrelated to this thread, I suddenly had a rush of inspiration tonight to create a brawler adept. In my copy of 20 questions there's a section for memorable quotes, and I wrote a little fictional paragraph to lead up to the speech.

The dwarf knelt, even though he was at least two heads shorter than what was left of the man he addressed, the bloodpool staining one knee of his slacks. Flecks on his boots. Bare knuckles and wiry arms crimson and slick with the stuff. You don’t shake a man’s hand with gloves on. Why should it be any different when you take a life?

Which made me decide the adept would have a Geas on his Killing Hands power that he needs to be bare-knuckled when using that power. Of course, because it's only a .5 power point adept power, the other .5 power points that will be reduced are penetrating strike and animal empathy.

That could work. He'd be at a disadvantage on runs, perhaps-no gloves leave fingerprints. At the same time, though, it's just so easy to take off one's gloves before combat, so it might not be as much as a disadvantage as he'd like(and many times, doing stun damage to guards is infinitely better. No Death=much less punishment coming after you. But it would be a cool character thing, anyway, even without mechanical bonuses.

Nice little written/inspiring piece, though. I had also written one up for my guy, to try to get the feel of him. Sometimes writing a short little bit of fiction can help me figure out other things technical-wise. For those interested(a little off-topic of geasa but it was fun to write):

It was all extremely fast.

Three of them, attacking at once; one with a knife, one with a club, one with a pistol.

Auriel listened, and waited. He saw the occasional flash of blackness across the deep, gray shadows that was the compound; but he stayed calm. He knew the gunman could cause him greater harm; however, he waited; he knew the man would probably try to take cover.

As he felt the air's disturbance around him, he lashed out with an arm, locking the arm of one of the men; one with a knife. He heard the sharp, clanging sound as it hit the ground; and the wet snap of the bone as he twisted. Reaching his hand back, he flattened it, and sent it into the man's throat.

The stench of blood assaulted his sensitive nose; the gurgling ringing in his ears as the man choked on his own blood. He dropped him to the floor, dancing out of the way and blocking the strike from the man with the club; he could hear the shouting of another one as he heard the crack of a gunshot, but judging by the fact he was not pushed back, he missed. Parrying once, then twice, on the third swing he caught the club, tearing it from the man's hands and kicking him in the ribcage, shattering it by the sound. The man fell backward, his breathing uneven, Auriel's keen hearing picking up the last few breaths he could take, the bone penetrating his lungs.

A muffled whump almost knocked the wind from him; he staggered back but caught himself easily. He felt the caliber of the gun-it was small. No damage to his body, though he might perhaps have a small bruise. Now, he knew what he was dealing with more-though he cursed himself for that. It could have been a much bigger gun. He would have to be more careful; a higher caliber could have torn through the jacket and into his heart.

Then there might have been problems. He had promised the older man he'd return to him what was missing.

Auriel knew that he would be better off evening the playing field. He would use the man's advantage against him.

He fumbled for the small grenade, pulled the pin, and threw it. It hissed, a scentless smoke filling the room, but he could hear the man cursing under his breath. He knew he had him. Not stopping, but dodging and ducking off to the side, he began to close the distance, as he heard the man's movement-he paused for a moment and allowed his senses to pinpoint where the man was moving. He finally stopped; realizing he was closer than the man realized, and span out with his leg; his heavy, steel-capped boot connected with the mob man's face with a crunch; strengthened even more by his inate power.

Once again, death filled his nostrils, but he could not hear anymore around, just the last rattling twitch of the man whose skull he shattered. He stepped over the body.

He began feeling around their loot; allowing his trained fingers to ''see'' for him. The smoke had cleared, and the table in front of him was a darker shade of gray compared to the slightly lighter shade of the rest of the room, after he had turned on the light. He did not need to see detail. Thanks to neural exchanges of the commlinks, he ''saw'' what the item looked like in his mind...and ''remembered'' it with his hands.

He pocketed the item when he received it, making sure to wipe his hands off on the man's body. A quick commlink call to his fixer would help take care of the remains. That was important.

There was one more thing.

He walked to the back, and saw the human shape; slightly small, sitting in a chair. He could smell fear. He walked over to her.

''Running away doesn't pay off, does it?'' he asked softly, as he knelt, feeling at her wrists and ankles. They did not get a chance to chain her.

'N...no,'' the girl answered. She was around seventeen. ''I...I mean, I always wanted to be an actress...'' she said, as she found some courage. ''So a friend of mine introduced me to these guys, who said they could help me.''

He looked up at her, his gray pupils fixed on eyes that he could not see. His hand reached up, and lightly touched her face. The girl gasped-not as much in fear, as he had just came to help her-but in the realization the attractive elf was mostly blind.

''You know people can lie. Your father was scared to death for you. No one would take this job, due to it's more...under-the-table nature, as they like to say in restaurants.''

He could see the shadow of her head nod.

''Take this.'' He slid a credstick in her hand. ''Take the tube back. It's best I'm not seen with you. You're father and little brother are waiting for you.'' He guided her out, the other way-so she didn't have to see the remains of the three.

''Who are you?'' she asked.

''Wraith is fine.''

He heard a small chuckle come from her. ''You kind of look like one.''

''So I've been told.'' He nodded to the door, sparing her a small smile, to let her know he wasn't offended. ''Go.''

She went.

A few calls later, and his 'clean-up crew' were arriving, whom owed him a favor. He left out the back, as if nothing had happened.

He removed the item from his pocket. He was sure someone would want to see this little bonus.

He sat in the pub, sipping the old scotch. He smiled; he could tell this actually was a proper, non-soy vintage. He knew Spanky's pub only sold the real stuff; the football-loving Irish troll never did fake, when it came to booze. He felt a breeze; he could feel a couple of hairs on his head move.

''You came,'' he said, his voice soft, before the man could say anything.

''I did. You have something of interest, I hear?''

Well I suspect that it wouldn't be that much of a problem; anyway I had a drake mage that could have pulled off the having sex in drake form (only him, not the partner) as it happened that he had some bad experience with a Tir noblewoman (she had his parents tortured to death when he was six years old, he should have been pit trought the same process but the guard chose to spare him and gave him to some elves that were about to leave the Tir) and got his revenge by using her as living vessel for his ally spirit; however he never did it because the scales reduced his tactile sensitivity greatly reducing the pleasure of the act.
