Well, I'm not sure what else I can add to my topic header, but here goes: I'm looking for the font used in SR sourcebooks--anyone know?

The body font is Friz Quadrata, and it is indeed publically available.

I thought it was Francis - has this changed, or is Francis just a free lookalike font that people have used in place of Friz Quadrata?

I did a search for Friz Quadrata and everywhere I've got I've had to buy it for 20 bucks. My SearchFoo isn't that great, anyone know a place to get it free?

You should find what you are looking for at geocities.com/dreamrhythm/FrizQuadrata.zip (no direct linkage because Geoshities sucks big elephant toenails!) :)
If you're interested, Wordman has a font page that can be found here. :) |

Strangely enough, some of the 2nd Ed D&D books also used Fritz Quadrata.
