I've talked with the Peruvian authoris, and they are OK with releasing Peru's chapter into the wild. I also have the Crime section, and not enough time this week for both, so... which one do you want first?

I'd say Peru. The Cartels' section in Vice should cover crime pretty well in the meantime.

Peru please. Though I too am looking forward to the other sections. Thanks very much to the author(s) for allowing the releases.

It has been difficult to set runs in South America with not much info about the place. Though one memorable run in Argentina involved three spirits of Man each claiming to be Eva Peron!

the area around Montivideo harbor and the River Platte is what I'm interested in. among other things it's a part of the ocean that is supposed to be fresh water.

wow .... I should have hopped into this topic a while ago. I own a commercial licence for adobe indesign, are there people looking to make this pretty? I would like to chip in with the project and do some layout. If we can get some artwork maybe we can wrap this up with a pretty bow. No money to be made but at least it will get the presentation it diserves.

Hey Synner, I don't know why I'm not able to write you a PM.

It's SR 3rd Edition Style. Just the header is missing (I won't use copyrighted artworks...).

You need a certain amount of posts (10 or 25) to be able to send PMs and such. Nice looking work.

It looks great. I also appreciate the 3rd Edition fonts and footers. I did notice a few Widow/orphan issues (especially with decker comments).

I assume the layout will change so I did not take more detailed notes.

For the page headers, what about a simpler rectangle (rounded corners on the bottom, that has the general feal of the offical books without being so derivative as to violate copyright?

Thanx for the feedback. It's still a really raw phase. I just copied the texts and did the type area and the style sheet. I'm working for an header artwork, but first i want to finish the maps. At last i'll do the fine tuning.

I'm german and my english is not very well. Thus I need assistance for the editorial stuff.

Looks really nice so far. The maps are a bit raw at the moment, but I really like where this is going, design wise.

Very curious for your header artwork. Keep it up!

Looks very nice Fexes. I'll be in touch with you and Platinum later today. The layout looks very cool so far. If you are interested in coming aboard please hold on layout of further writeups. You had no way of knowing but some of the smaller "chapters" are actually part of a single chapter with odds and ends rather than standalone sections, a complete chapter drafts exists that I stitched together in editing way back when this was my first official development project. As for the maps they look pretty good too. I'll get the authors to send further comments your way if/when we get all of them onboard (we're currently missing greenlights from only a couple of the original authors).

As lead developer on SoLA before it was pulled by FanPro I have all the final drafts in my possession. I even have edited drafts. However, I will not be releasing any drafts without the approval of the original authors (and in the case of edited drafts, the editor involved). We're almost there though, so expect more soon.
