Just wanted to give a heads up, just about all the slots for all Shadowrun Missions events running at Origins 2005 are already SOLDOUT. Most other events are also going quickly.

Are there any chances of getting more play slots opened up at the con?

We're a little tight on judges for Origins. However, I know I'll be working the con on at least Saturday and Sunday. I'll bring my laptop, SRM adventures, and report sheets with me. I can't promise anything, but if I have players, table space, and time, I'll do what I can to accomodate people. :)

Also, at the moment, there's still one Friday 10AM ticket open for "The Gambler". Somebody hurry and snag it! It's a fun event.

Ok so a quick question about Gen Con. The events listing does not show which mission is which. They are all listed simply as Shadowrun Missions and the description simply reffers me to the Missions webpage which has no info at all. Anyone have the 411 on which one is which so I can sign up efficiently? Thanks chummers your the best!

A tentative event list has just been solicited to the GM crew for GenCon. The final list will be posted to the missions web site as soon as it is confirmed.

GenCon Event listing has now been posted to the srrpg web site.

Two notes:

Harvest Time is listed once as an SR4 event. I do not believe that it will actually BE an SR4 event.

Keys to the Asylum *IS* a Shadowrun Missions event.

The Capital Area Roleplayers CARP Web Site will be running SRM00-02 : Demolition Run at our June gameday (June 25-26, 2005, Fortress Games, 425 Albert, East Lansing, MI). We'd love to have more people play - right now there are only two people registered to play. As one of them, I want to have enough people that the game will go off!

Hope to see you!

Grrr...I'm guessing all GenCon seats have been taken up already, huh? I couldn't find the event listings on SRRPG, and sifting through the excel spreadsheet of the events list from GenCon got me a little bored.

As of this time, there are a LOT of tickets still available for SRM at GenCons. The FanPro team is running 28 tables of SRM. Five of those are sold out, but 5 of those haven't sold a ticket yet.

I found this list most available by grabbing the excel file from the GenCon indy site, then sorting it by game system, and description. This causes all 28 of the SRM games to clump together. You'll want to refer back to the event listing here:

http://www.shadowrunrpg.com/fanpro/gencon2005.shtml

to find out exactly what adventures are being run in what slots.

For the record, the sold out slots are:
Friday 10AM Keys to the Asylum (01-07)
Saturday 8AM DoubleCross (01-01)
Saturday 1PM (?? It's either Harvest Time or The Gambler. Both are running at this time. One is sold out, the other has sold no tickets.)
Sunday 8AM Strings Attached (01-02)
Sunday 10AM A Fork in Fate's Path (00-04)

I gotta wonder, when did Shadowrunners become morning people?!

To update anybody who hasn't registered yet, but is still planning to, 3 more events have now sold out.

Friday 8AM: SRM01-05 Walk in the Park
Sunday 12AM: SRM00-05 Dark and Stormy Night
Sunday 12PM: SRM00-03 FORCEd RECON

I'd encourage anyone who's planning to get in an SRM game at GenCon to pre-reg soon. Eight of the 28 tables are now sold out. Another 12 only have 1 or two tickets left.

I live in Hamilton, Ontario. At Gencon last week, I played Shadowrun for the first time since the early 90's, and enjoyed it greatly. Are there any GM's running games within reasonable driving distance of Hamilton interested in another player?

BTW, kudo's to the GM (if he is reading this or not) who ran "Mission Briefing" for us. Well done.

Hans, a.k.a. Babylon the very recently created Shadowrun character.

There is a section on this forum for Gm/Player registry in which you might get a a better response for finding people to game with.

You may also consider checking out the Welcome to the Shadows section where people play games by posting in the forum. New recruitment threads pop up every week or two.

Depending on experience and interest of the players I will choose out of
  • SRM00-01 Mission Briefing
  • SRM00-02 Demolition Run

  • SRM01-02 Strings Attached
  • SRM01-07 Keys to the Asylum

On Saturday November 5th, I'll be in Ann Arbor, Michigan for the UCon gaming convention at the Michigan Union.

I'll be running:
3PM-7PM SRM01-02 Strings Attached

If time and space allows, I'm also hoping to runs some SR4 demos Saturday morning in their exhibit hall.

Full info on the convention is right here.
