Someone should bring "Hello My Name Is" name tags this year, so that it's easier to remember who is who. Plus when I take pics, it'll be more obvious (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Bull, will you have an exhibitor badge this year? Come by Sandstorm's booth on Wednesday if you do. We'll have a button machine (because everyone wants a Cthulhu button, right? Or a Monkey button for Poo...) and you can make some buttons with names/handles on them. Or maybe if I knew names/handles of folks who'll be there, I could make some ahead of time... hmm... I bet we can figure something out.

It's late and I'm tired and lazy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Is there a definite plan (place & time) in this thread somewhere?

Assuming I make it (which is contingent on something at the moment), I have the FtB pre-con dinner Wednesday night at 6. I assume it'll go on for a while, though, so if it's concurrent I'll try to at least drop in for a bit.

I'm the last-minutest Gencon planning/going muthafucka on the planet. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cyber.gif)

No, I don't have an Exhibitors badge. If I'd have known I was going to be doing Booth Demos 24/7, I'd have seen if I could get one, but... Eh. No big.

And MOnkey and Cthulhu buttons you say... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

A lot can be said for smiling and acting friendly to a bouncer...also there is showing up early, that can always get you in. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Starship: Well, they serve dinner there as well. You can't drink, but you should still be able to get in. IIRC, for most places like that, it's only after like 10 or so that they'll start turning people away if they're underage.

Then I'll still try to make it. I'll just show up right around eight, if I can, and leave earlier.

Well, if my timing is correct, then I should be getting into Indy around 11pm local time, figure about 15 min to check into my hotel, and then 15 (maybe) to walk to the M&G and I should be there by 11:30-11:45, if it is still going on... *Stupid work*

It was a blast! I left about 10:45 to walk back to the B&B my wife and I were staying at and it was still going strong. Although like last year we were all spread out, maybe next year we should actually "plan" and take over one corner of the entire pub so we can all socialize better.

Oi. Crazy, crazy night indeed, but we had a hell of a turnout. All told, I estimate we had between 40 and 50 people there. Besides the Dumphock/Shadowrun crew, we had a few of the RPGnet crowd, a few of the old timer #Shadowrun IRC crowd, some of the Battletech crowd, a few misc. friends, and we even had Colen and the Herolab guys show up (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) So all in all, it was fantastic, and next year, I',m going to see if they can set aside the back table area or something for us, because we did end up scattered throughout the pub, so it was hard to really hang out with any one particular group. I floated around to a few different tables before ending up with the main Duumpshock crew and doing some whiskey flights with DireRadient.

To bad I just joined in today otherwise I would have come to hang out. All of this "behind closed doors" type stuff goes on at Gencon and I am still a newbie.
