There was a picture of a short-order cook in the SR3 main sourcebook. He ran a fastfood stand called Merciless Ming's and was morbidly obese. I was totally inspired by it and turned him into a cleaver-wielding adept, and he was a total blast to play.

Wasn't that guy a sushi cook with wired reflexes who insisted on drinking one glass of the same stuff for each glass of stuff his customer was having?

The penile implant is a classy touch.
Do the rules for the damage rating of falling objects depend on weight? If so, this guy could fuck someone up pretty bad by Goomba-stomping them. |

I love the concept, but the levels in an adept power are limited by the Magic rating. Why does he even need to be an adept, anyways? You're paying for all of these levels of Magic that you are losing to 'ware, and the point he has left isn't doing much. He would be better off with synthcardium: 3.

How does he have 2.49 essence with all that swag stuffed into the fatty folds of his mammoth torso? I call shenanigans.

Yeah houserule. Every point of BMI above 30 gets you an extra point of essence because ware built into the fat doesnt affect your holistic field.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif)

Definitely using this guy against my players, they'd never suspect the giant guy in corner working his way down a 4 foot sub in the stained up out of date armored concert tee as an ambush.

I think this concept is awesome, but could lose the magic and use those points to buy the maximum possible Body attribute. Maybe even taking the Exceptional Attribute quality to make your Body one higher than the racial max. If ever that quality was called for, it's for this guy!

You're paying for all of these levels of Magic that you are losing to 'ware, and the point he has left isn't doing much. He would be better off with synthcardium: 3. At Character Creation you start out with magic rating 1 for taking adept quality, and you don't have to buy extra magic points for lost essence. But I did screw up by giving 3 points of Gymnastics when level is limited by Magic Rating. I took adept mainly for Iron Gut Iron Gut Cost: .25 per level This power allows an adept to digest nearly anything and pass it without harm (gamemaster’s discretion). Each level of Iron Gut adds a +1 dice pool modifier for Resistance Tests against ingested toxins. Now I have idea for new adept Power..... Thanks for the comments |

Iron Colon
Cost .25 per level Adepts with Iron Colon Power are able to pass any object swallowed at will. (Commlinks, Datachips, Credsticks, ect.) Each level of Iron Colon allows adept to "Hold it in" for 24 hours. Comments... |

How does he have 2.49 essence with all that swag stuffed into the fatty folds of his mammoth torso? I call shenanigans. You know the essence rules with bioware and cyberware right? I think a lot of people never see this one. Pg. 86 SR4A Essence losses from cyberware and bioware are tracked separately. Only the higher of the two totals deducts from Essence in full, with the other deducting at half. For example, if a character has an Essence loss of 1.5 from cyberware and 2.5 from bioware, then the character’s Essence is 6 – 2.5 (full bioware) – 0.75 (half cyberware), or 2.75. Players should keep track of both, as it’s possible one can outpace the other as the character implants more cyber or bio into his body. |

If anyone can describe power better or have anything to add... I can honestly say that I have no interest in describing this power better. Also, perhaps he could just get a cyber colon or something, instead of spending points on adept which doesn't fit as well thematicly? Also that Astral hazing flaw you took up effects you as well, meaning that you are also losing 4 (Don't have the book with me) off your magic attribute. That reduces your magic to 0. meaning you really have no magic at all. |
