As the title says I'm looking for an online SR4 group that plays Friday or Saturday night during US hours. I recently moved to China (for work) and the RPG opportunities aren't that fantastic, as you might expect. We're exactly 12 hours different from Eastern time, so anything that starts Friday or Saturday night after 8pm EST is pretty reasonable for a Saturday/Sunday start time for me.

Ideally I'm looking for a group that is established that has either lost a player or just looking to add more, as hopefully they've worked out the kinks of online play. As a couple year D&D and SR GM via Fantasy Grounds I know how difficult it can be. I'm willing to play just about any team role, though until I get to know everyone better, Face probably isn't a great one to start off with.

If you've got a spot, feel free to PM or post here.

Hi Emod!

I'm also living in China at the moment (Beijing), and looking to find some kind of gaming group. Online or otherwise.

So that's two so far (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

In Dalian here, so online is still the only option. Hopefully others on this side of the world (Aussies I'm looking at you) might be interested. I'll shoot you a PM.

Hmmm - strange you can't send me a PM. It looks like it's enabled in my account settings...

I have a friend in the US that might be up for an online SR game. We probably would need 1 more or so...

Edit: I see that I need 10 posts before many account-related things are enabled...so hopefully soon PMs will work...

Yeah it seems my hope of finding a spot in a currently running group is unlikely. If we get a couple more hits to this thread for people interested in either Fri/Sat night play (US time) then we can start organizing to find who's willing to run it, etc. I personally don't have the time to start a campaign. Once we're off the ground, one-shots are definitely within the realm of possibility for me to run though.

I am willing to run a friday night game online (Open Rpg/Skype). I do most of the prep work via e-mails, and allow the players time to meet and plan pre-run. Would only be making the run 1-2 times a month, typicaly try to keep things under 4 hours. Three runners is enough, willing to take up to five or six. May be willing to try Ventrillo, over Skype. Let me know if y'all are still interested. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rotate.gif)

Ok, that's two, I don't want to start anything officially till after 4th July holliday, but I can start with setup, which is basic 400 BP build. I'll offer a couple of options. A standard Seattle setting, or my prefered setting (to be revealed) Seattle running is straight forward, if running in my setting, the risk are a little greater, but rewards are increased as well. I also offer a third option of an established runner team, working for a corp or security firm, but requires at least four runners, and is less risk/reward.

No problem here. Just let me know how you want to get things setup (via email, yahoo group, etc). Generally a pre-meet just to discuss times, character concepts, game setting, etc is a good idea as well.

I wouldn't mind having a voice/open rpg pre-game meet friday, June, 25. Need to get enough people together first, though.

Hey. Still room for one more? Dieing to play again before I start running another game. Good with any role, but I prefer hacker/TM types myself. Haven't had a chance to play a caster.

If people can PM me their email addresses I'll either get a Vent server going (my pref) or send out Skype username list. My pref is Vent since it has individual user sound settings, easy push to talk, and overall easier imo, but I'm game for whatever the favorite is.

And I believe we've got room for one more. That'd put it at 3 players. It's Dantic's call though since he's the GM.

Sure, I'm going to have a planning session friday, June, 25. Plan on starting 8:00 PM, eastern. Looks like it will be Vent/ Open RPG, so download and install as neccessary.

Sorry, I can't make this Friday at 8pm (Sat at 8AM for me!).

I feel bad, like missing the first day of class. But this will be an isolated incident, I have "stuff" I gotta do just this Saturday. I promise!

Ok please check your emails if you haven't already. We'll have to push to 9pm EST for Adrian, hopefully it won't be a problem for anyone.

If anyone else out there is interested in joining and hasn't responded please shoot me a PM and we'll try to get you in.

New Game thread, up here, Running The Coast, please do not post general postings here, I want to keep this limited to In game mechanics, and IC postings only (ie. Character Backgrounds, IC communications, ooc requests for karma expenditures, dealings with contacts.) Recruting thread to come.
