So, I was incredibly board and someone mentioned how Ancient is pretty much the scholar of the boards, and I mentioned something about him being the resident Ehran (or however that's spelled). That got me to wondering what dumpshockers are who else? Captain Chaos would be a toss up between Neuron Basher and Adam. And there are the obvious ones like Bull being Bull and DVixen being DVixen. I'm sure we have a Harlequin and a Nadja on here somewhere. What else? Nominate your fellow dumpshockers. |

I'd agree with the characterisation of AH as Ehran the Scribe. The only difference is that AH has always seemed kind, modest, and helpful. |

Who would be chaotic enough to count as Harlequin? That guy is chaos incarnate!

'Cept when I have to deal with pissants that claim I don't know my material. Thankee all for the compliments. Y'all do realize that several board members were actually included in the books, on purpose? |

None other than the "god of Chaos." Of course I don't know the actual god's screename, but I am sure he posts under something. Speaking of the "god of Chaos," I thought of adding a shamanic totem of Chaos to a game I am GM-ing, but I didn't know what the bonuses and negatives would be. Obviously a bonus to illusion spells, but what else? Would it be an Idol? How would it look and what would be said about its followers? |

Just make the chaos shaman be a focus of the chaotic magic principles mentioned in MitS. I would apply the effects to any external magic (spells, spirits, etc.) within (MR meters) of the shaman and also to any internal magic (adept powers) within a tenth of that distance.
A totem for chaos is difficult to handle. Any totem that is clearly defined is not a valid totem of chaos. |

I'd probably be an unnamed Shadowland or Denver Data Haven employee.
Or maybe I'd be the GM... ~J |

I can't think of any significant Spider Shamans in the books to claim and that's really my most distinguishing characteristic.
Instead I'd probably rank as random NPC #4: The really bad smelling squatter hiding behind the dumpster when the gang fight starts. |

There's always the gang, the Spiders... or you could be one of the people from the third Secrets of Power book.

Raven is the Harbinger of Chaos.
Coyote is its Herald. And Spider is the Spinner. The Three Fates of Life. [ Spoiler ] I'm Insect flesh form #137 in Double Exposure, #17726 in Bug City, or #12 in Queen Euphoria. |

I'd personally like to say I were Smiling Bandit or Laughing Man, but I'd probably be closer to Slamm-O, the annoying little kid who thinks he knows everything and is only wrong about that about half the time.

Can I be Brightlight?
[edit] Actually: I'm pretty chaotic, occationally wrong, always arrogant, and often teasing/cheeky. Can I be Harlequin? [/edit] [edit] Actually: Screw that. I am Harlequin. :P [/edit] |

I don't want to be Drain Brain (the sewer-dwelling hermit) any more - can I be Richard Villiers instead? No, wait... Ryan Mercury - I get to go to bed with Nadja Daviar every night... ;)
