The team heads out of the noisy building and through the crowd of people. Jake moves erratically to do his best to avoid physical contact as they walk, eventually finding that the dwarf creates the best path for him to meet that goal.

The parking lot is full of vehicles as well as the usual stragglers: Teens who can't afford tickets, dealings and even a feel low-rent prostitutes. An older human man in dirty clothing begs for a few yen as they exit. A well-used middle aged street prostitute propositions Jake and a trio of young-teen boys make lewd comments about the team's females. No one is foolish enough to be too aggressive.

Jake's van is a newer model panel van, but it looks like it is a little worse for wear. The driver's side window is missing and the back doors are riddled with bullet holes.

Jake climbs into the driver's side and Jazz takes the passenger seat. Revan, Kit and Jenny are able to take the second row bench seat. They notice that the rear of the van, where a third row would be, is totally enclosed. Another note is that despite the missing window, the interior of the van is immaculate, like Jake bought it new today.

Revan makes his way to through the crowd taking in the fact that Jake is somewhat of a germ freak or something not wanting to touch anyone and ensuring they cleaned themselves. Ignoring the comments from the young lowlifes wasn't easy for him. One spell and their days of harassing dwarfs in this lot would change dramatically That said when he sees the Van in question he questions himself on the sanity of Jake hoping he isn't some BTL chip head who lives in Augmented Reality and doesn't know the outside of his van looks like drek. Once inside though he seconds guesses seeing the interior and the enclosed compartment he wonders if maybe he deals in second hand cyberparts instead. Shaking his head and questioning if he should maybe catch a cab and follow instead. Beats walking any day i guess Revan thinks to himself and takes the ride ready to stunball the whole van if this Jake cat tries anything fishy. he silently takes in the ride though with little interaction with anyone besides Kat who he really only barely knows but at least he knows her capabilities.

Jenny Midnight winks at the teen boys as she pulls her leather coat out of her bag and puts it on over the turtleneck she was wearing, revealing the green A on the back, making sure they see it as she puts it on. Maybe make them think twice about messing with a lady. As they all climb into the van, she lets the others in first, in case she needs to make a fast exit. And so, she leaned back against the seat, keeping her bag on the floor beside her, one hand on top.

"Alright, so now that we're all here, shall we talk business, or would you prefer to start driving first?"

As they climb into the van, Jazz leaves the passenger door slightly ajar, leaning in and saying to the others: "Thanks! But I got my own ride with me. I will need to get to work on the Matrix side, anyways, so you figure out the physical and astral part meanwhile. We'll keep in touch." Looking at Jake, she adds: "Not physically, of course."

A sleek, black SUV pulls up in the vincinity, and Jazz heads off towards that car, getting into the driver's seat.

Revan pays attention to Jazz as she exits the vehicle after opening the door, Moving from the middle of the back seat he moves to take the passenger seat and makes sure to leave the door unlocked in case he has to make a quick exit. he switches his vision from mundane to the astral plane to see if there is any magic protection or residue. Upon sitting in the seat Revan looks at Jake"I hope you don't mind its a little crowded back there, i like my personal space."

Jazz pulls out of the parking lot in her SVU first. The four others remain in Jake's van and he also pulls out onto the street.

Jazz takes her time, driving around Tacoma for a while, before heading towards Commencement Bay.

Once she has her car parked in the garage, she heads up to her condo and sets up some precautions, setting up one of her drones to watch the street and flying one of her fly-spys to a location a few blocks away to be able to use it as a proxy relay to hinder traces, before getting to work.

She sets up her Reality Filter and spends the next few hours to probe the target for possible weaknesses to exploit.

A leisurely drive gave Jazz time to reflect on the meeting and the job, as well as insure that she wasn't followed. Once reasonably sure, she pulls into the underground parking at her building. The sensor at the gate checks her SIN then allows her admittance to park. The gate opens just high enough to accommodate her vehicle and closes quickly behind her.

The smells of the city mixed with those of the bay assault her nose as she walks across the garage; Gladly, the bay not only smells considerably less repugnant, it obviously pushes away the smells of the city. The door to the elevator opens with her approach and automatically takes her to the correct floor; Her SIN enables the systems and grants access. A minimalistic menu does appear in AR, providing options to override and go to the ground level, management & security on two or laundry on three.

Once in her apartment, she sets up for the previously mentioned work. Relaying from her fly-spy positioned towards the retail area of her neighborhood, she locates an access point ripe for picking with the Tea Haus. In two hours, she has not only probed the node, but located an exploit that will provide her access. Shaking her head, she knows the exploit was patched last month by the vendor and a current subscription for updates would have plugged the hole.

The drive was a little brisk, open window and all on a night in March; Would have been colder on a bike though. It's late enough to be dark and for the bottom feeders of the crime ladder to be out, early enough for 'decent folks' to still be out. The drive should have taken an hour, but took over 90 minutes avoiding check points, dodging traffic general Seattle night life nonsense putting them there shortly after 21:00.

Arriving on scene, the team finds a wrinkle they may or may not have realized: This restaurant is right on the bay. Customers can also access the restaurant from its pretty long dock. Jake makes a slow pass then travels a few miles north before turning around for a second pass. The damage to his van currently makes it pretty conspicuous in this neighborhood. After a second pass, he parks at the Starbucks two blocks west of the restaurant to allow the team to decide on a plan for additional recon.

Revan takes in the area making note of any patrols KE or LS regardless he wanted to see how often they kept a physical presence. Revan looks at the others in the Van. "how about we take a walk up around and then head inside to do a little recon."

Kit & Revan take a few minutes for an astral recon while the others consider tactics of the recon. The area in astral space is what one would expect from a A+ neighborhood: no background count, low grade wards abundant on the various buildings and a fair number of watchers not only going to & fro but also circling the occasional building as well. The target site has a low grade ward, but no watchers or spirits appear to be patrolling.

Jake goes through the usual routine oppening up team chanel for everyone to see what hie spy-fly drones see. First thing, he sends the drones to circle the restaurant and take a look at the dockside.

Jake's three fly-spy drones take flight as establish a trio perimeter video feeds back to the team over their TeamNet©. Kit maintains astral over watch as the JM and Revan head down the street towards the restaurant. This time of night on a Tuesday, the restaurant is winding its business down with only a dozen vehicles parked nearby for staff and customers. The area is well lit, definitely different than everyone is used to.

The front (west) of the restaurant has a U-shaped drive with handicap and VIP parking between the U. On the south side is a two lane bay for deliveries as well as considerable parking for patrons, employees and persons using the numerous docks to the south. The entire north and east sides, as well as the eastern half of the south side of the restaurant border the lake with two long docks.

The duo are able to steer clear of a patrol car with guidance from Jake and his drones while walking the area. Westlake Ave North runs north/south in front of the restaurant following the contour of the lake. Its four lanes definitely facilitate a good flow to traffic.

Their initial recon complete, the duo return to the van.

Having found, what she was looking for, Jazz ponders the next steps. No system was perfect, and this was far from being different. With the holes in the security she could exploit to log in, she could now install a backdoor for easy access, but if her tampering was noticed before the run, it could make things more difficult. Therefore, she decides to wait one or two days before doing anything on that level. Maybe she will do some more probing later, and actually log onto the system to see what she can access from there.
