More evil ideas, if your GM hasn't thrown the books at you yet -

Alternate manifest forms:
1) add a manifest form for a GMC Banshee
2) or nuclear powered attack sub
3) or nuclear powered aircraft carrier with the ANDREWS (nuclear powered energy weapon system in Rigger 3 iirc)

Or get the physical vehicles as normal, but prep them as vessels for the spirit to inhabit - to prevent being dropped out of thin air/under the ocean etc if the spirit gets banished.

Fluff-wise, the character will actually still need to buy a bike and a set of military to break apart and reverse engineer it into the ally formula.

Why? Just scour the Matrix for the Schematics. Easy Peasy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I always hated that motorcycle spirit crap that Kenson came up with (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I guess you could envision it has a manifestation of the Movement power for one person. I dunno about the armor version. It shouldn't provide any advantages the spirit couldn't offer in the first place anyway.

Eh.. i had a character once with an Familar. One of his Forms was that of a armorered Duster. Since that form was emulating a duster it had the same encumberance (when the familar just "hangs loose" but of course i had a spirit armor (well, not everywhere of course).

It was fun, and not that overpowered... in SR3. In SR4 the "Imunity against normal weapons" maybe goes a bit too far a bit fast in higher levels, but overall should be THAT much of a problem.

Ahh, it's an attempt to prevent the GM from throwing the books at the player (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Otherwise, there's no stopping players from making nuclear powered aircraft carrier using alternate forms. Or a Battlemaster (it's a Battletech mecha).
