As sad as the movie was, I belive the movie "Wanted" has such a scene where the Sniper was shooting out of direct LOS, though the Line of Effect was unbroken. Horrible movie, but an interesting scene nonetheless. This one? -k |

That is a good one too, but I was referring to the scene at the beginning of the movie that opened it all up. |

I'm curious as to how you imagine indirect fire with a rifle working. Bullet drop isn't that much, to be able to "avoid" obstacles, forget arc firing or purposeful ricochets, shooting through barriers might work. Mostly considering breaching walls near/though the target. |

If you're looking for alternatives to sniping, I've heard about tricks that some forces use by putting placed charges behind walls that have heavy appliances.
A fridge flying around a kitchen in various pieces can be quite lethal. Especially if it's one of the industrial Stainless Steel ones! |

She is pretty ridiculous even before she combines with the Fury. I don't know. A high-powered hunting rifle to get her hands on some actual combat-capable weapons seems just in line with her training. Don't forget, a lot of "Hunting Rifles" used by folks used to be Military Rifles a few generations ago. (At least, in Canada that's true. SMLEs and Kar 98Ks.). |

Heck Thats basically what our Marines were using, modified hunting rifles. Go earlier than that. A number of US Military units used Hunting Rifles against the British Smoothbores when they separated. Bloody Seps. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) |

Bloody Seps. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) Thats a new one to me. Nasty on 2 levels, separatists and as in sepsis, implying that the Revolution was an infection needing to be rooted out. Touche sir indeed. |

After the fury it wouldn;t be THAT hard, its just a spirit pact. Its much more than that, I feel. Tisi, i believe, would be an Inhabitation Free spirit with Hidden Life, using the optional rule/gm tweak that lets inhabitation spirits not kill/subsume their host's spirit. Instead, a distinct personality that lives in her head, and can occasionally(or forcibly) take control. as a Flesh Form, she's able to use DNI and access their hosts implants, which fits with her later feats. Hidden life is so she survives when her host dies. She's done this toquite a few mortals over the years, after all. |

British slang for a USAer, from my understanding. Still sometimes used apparently, but no longer with the vitriol it once had. I use it today as a semi-joke, and as a warning to my fellow Canadians that we have our own Separatist problem that still exists. *Shakes Head* Personally, I have quite a bit of respect for the US Founding Fathers in a lot of ways. Still bloody separatists, but I respect them nonetheless. |

A small but annoying minority. |

Yah down here in TX we have our own separatist problems too. A small but annoying minority. Let's see... There's Quebec, but that's infamous and has a terrorist cell backing it (The FLQ.). The Ontario Separatist party, but that's actually loyal to Canada, Northern Ontario just wants to separate from Southern Ontario. "Hell, if you make Toronto a City-State all on it's own, we'd be happy." Coming from Northern Ontario, I'm a firm supporter of them. The BC Separatist party is picking up steam, but I can't blame them. Maybe if Marijuana is legalized and their second-major export can be taxed they'll get better support from the Federal Government. Alberta is pretty much running itself, but there's mutterings there. The Maritimes are voicing a bit here and there, but isn't anything major. The shipyards being shut down in that area really put a bit hit on the area. Newfoundland is facing some serious problems, but hasn't made any major strides, but I could see it happening sometime soon if things aren't put into check. Manitoba had the Red River Rebellion awhile back, but that got Louis Riel a seat in Parliament despite the death sentence on his head, so... He had the balls to sign the register once despite that, according to legend. Wow, I never realized how messed up and whiny Canadians are. Sorry. OK, I've taken us off topic enough, back to shooting through schools. |

The same guy who is doing the sniping has a drone that he wants to mount a mingun on. Do drones need to worry about recoil?

Is there any reason a drone can't have a body of 5? That is essentially the size of a seadoo with wheels.

There are no stock drones with that, and most vehicles fall either to 4 or 6 (who knows why). Just use a vehicle, I guess.
The reason there are no drones 5+ is possibly because they'd be too large to use indoors. |

With the right hardware and software, a vehicle is just a big drone anyhow.
One with passenger space! |

well I am thinking that it really would be about the size of a sea doo, and would get a penalty indoors but in open terrain it would be fine.
