I hate to say it but the pokemon tradition really works. Grass type pokemon(plant spirit), fire type(flire spirit) etc. And hell I can see the corps backing it as a sport, crap and toxic trainers would be the heels of the WWPL.
I'll try to find my necromancy tradition write up. It was basically a reflavoring of the voodoo tradition to a more hermetic style, you summoned spirits of the dead and the water spirit was a symbol for the boundary between life and death(river styx kind of). |

The Temporal View
Concept: Followers who have insight into the Temporal View tradition call themselves Time Lords. They believe to be chosen by the Greater Guardians, omnipresent, timeless beings who watch over and control history. Time Lord are their mundane tools to intervene in the universe's fate directly. Combat: Guardian, Reflexion of the Greater Guardians Detection: Guidance, Messenger of the Past and the Future Health: Water, the Flow of Time Illusion: Air, the Omnipresence Manipulation: Man, the Assistant Drain: Willpower + Logic Note: The Temporal View is a possession tradition. Although they'd never agree to the concept of so-called magic, Time Lords are aware, that certain similarities between their powers and a magician's force exists. Quite the contrary, they're actually very open to side by side work with hermetics and usually find fulfilling jobs in scientific research positions. As is obvious by the laws of physics (and magic), time and space cannot actually be manipulated and shaped, nevertheless, Time Lords have proven multiple times, to influence at least the perception of time and space. The astral world is not foreign to them, so as with any tradition, they're interpretation may vary. Time Lords argue, and certain facts speak in their favor, this plane is the interspace between this world and the timeless realm the Guardians inhabit. A Time Lord in need and skilled enough is allowed to request support of his gods, so they will send a temporal being with no mundane represantation of its own. Binding these entities for longer service is rare, but not unknown, in case an important task asks for it. However, Invoking a spirit so it will advance to a Greater Guardian hasn't actually be proven to work, nor will any sane person try such blasphemy. This is the work of toxic Lords only. It is expected of a Time Lord to advance in his study and gain the knowledge of certain initiate powers. Most common are Psychometry, as it allows the study of the past and Divination for its glance into the future. |

Since when is there smoke type Pokémon? We're on the verge of the 6th generation and we've yet to see a new type since generation 2 (Although if were to believe the rumours, X and Y will introduce two new types saint(light) as dark type is evil type in the japanese version, and sound which makes an eerie amount of sense) Steel and dark were only introduced to deal with the imbalances of psychic types (which also was adressed by fixing the ghost type bug, and introducing powerful ghost and bugtype moves)
The 16 types are: Fire, Water, Grass, Bug, Electric, Fighting, Normal, Ground, Rock, Dragon, Fighting, Steel, Psychic, Dark, Flying and Ice *smirk* I may know to much about pokémons. |
