I have to ask - what the heck is pink mohawk? Over the top, hyper-realistic, in your face running. Think Smoking Aces |

Oi Chummers!
I'd love to get in a pbp! The last pbp I was in was a couple years ago (on this very forum), and died due to GM RL issues, and I want to get into another one. I play 4e, and I'm up for playing any character type, but a face or matrix specialist are preferred. Although there has been a troll neo-barbarian I've been wanting to play... Typically I am between multiple times a week to multiple times a day posting frequency (depending on how busy work is...) Thanks! *EDIT* Added Version. |

Greetings, everyone. I'm here looking for a game, any edition, any theme.
Need a character? I'm your guy. All I need from you, the GM, is your chargen limitations and specifications, as well as what kind of character you need, and I'll make you a character you can sink your teeth into (preferably not literally, but hey, we all know how these things go...) So...anyone got a game that they need a player for? |

The team is already well rounded, so don't worry about filling a role, then after you read through the linked forum, post your character idea. |

I don't suppose there are any 4E games going right now? I've never done a forum based game before and don't know what it all entails, but I certainly do love shadowrun... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Keep lurking. Someone will be hiring soon! My game is mid-mission and 3rd Ed, so I don't have a slot for you. PbP (Play-by-Post) Forum games are pretty simple. Each game will have an IC (In Character) thread, and an OoC (Out of Charcter) thread. The IC you post your actions an observations for your character. OoC is where you handle all the table talk, rules, rolls, questions, mechanics, etc. Like I said, keep checking in and hopefully you will find a game. |

I've done a little purusal and figure I'll throw my hat in the ring. I've got the sourcebooks for 3E or 4E SR, and I like a game thats a little deadlier then most. I'm comfortable with your average vanilla combat rules (though its been a while so I'd need to do a bit of a refresher on myself) and I've GMed for both mages and matrix users so I'd like to think I'd be comfortable fitting into any role one might need, though I do tend to lean towards the gun toter/glass cannon then anything else (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
You want it dead? You want it dead now? I can do that. Just don't ask me to handle the return fire. Thats why I use a Troll as a bench rest. Mobile cover (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I'm availible most weeknights and weekends so I can fit with at 1-3 times a week posting regiment pretty easily. Anyone need another player? |

Currently looking for a game somewhere between Sleeping Dogs and Burn Notice, if anyone's up for that.
Preference would be for setting the group in Hong Kong or Japan, (making firearms less common) and fast tracking up from street level and having to deal with the consequences. |

Greetings and Salutations!
Looking for a 4Ed Pink Mohawk, Black Hat, or Grey Hat shadowrun game. Don't mind much where it takes place. I can post roughly at least twice a week and perhaps a little more. |

Been inbetween sessions with my local group for a good while now, so I'll toss my hat in I guess.
Looking for a 4ED game, pretty much almost any style will work for me. Willing to fit my character to team needs, although I do like to run with eccentric or exotic character concepts when everyone is cool with it. I'm not terribly well versed in hacking or rigging, but willing to brush up on those chapters if one of those roles is in high demand. Should be able to post rather frequently. ~Umi |

A word to the wise it helps to put a tiny burb about the character/archetype you want to play in a spoiler so potential gms can get a feel for you before they take you into a game (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Well in that case;
Techno Hacker/rigger with a focus on modifications and engineering with a history of working for Ares. Over surged (or surged/cybered) troll street samurai/Razorboy, combination of Infiltrator and a massive troll with claws. Surged Foxboi Hacker/Adept with armour and automatics. Specialized for onsite hacking and point defence. Ancients razorboy, claws, cyber and low class all the way. |

I'm looking for an SR4 game as well. My posting rate can be rather fast or slow depending upon the game, meaning I can post everyday or a few times a week or even just on weekends if that is needed. I tend to lean towards combat oriented characters, mainly gunslingers or a newly created sniper that I want to play. I have also modified the smuggler to my own tastes with equipment and contacts since I have never tried on before.

So, a friend recently died and left me his Shadowrun collection. I figured that then was as good a time to get into it as any, so over the last couple weeks I've been reading the books, lurking and occasionally posting on SR-related boards, and even making a few purchases.
I like what I've read so far, and am up for any SR game that'll have me. I'd prefer to play a spellcaster, though I'm willing to pick any character concept that doesn't involve heavy reliance on the Matrix rules (because I don't understand them). In addition, I'm only really familiar with the SR4A ruleset, and don't have the most recent books (though I may be able to borrow them from people I know, if need be). Experience-wise, I've been involved with RPGs for over 5 years, and have 3 years worth of experience with PbP (though curiously enough, the only game I've been in that lasted for any amount of time was the one I GMed myself, and even that's beginning to fall apart). So yeah, while I need a group willing to accommodate someone new to SR, you probably won't have to teach me the basics of roleplaying or anything like that. P.S.: Also, if there happens to be a RL gaming group located in Singapore that I missed, I'd be willing to join them. I'm free Sundays and maybe Fridays. I might be able to swing a weekday night, but that's pretty iffy to begin with. |
