Ah... yeah, that's gotta suck. :) I take it he doesn't have Masking so as to even try and deliberately mask 'em and synchronize with the ward?

Without revealing too much...

Ghost Dragon has foci that are physically attached to his body. He'd rather not remove them. For example, the focus that is always on is a force 1 that sustains an improved reflexes +3 spell. That one is a 24k gold nipple ring. He could take it off, but he would have to take off all of his armor just to get to it. Then, he'd probably lose it when the wind blew and put some sand on top of it.

And no, he doesn't have masking - yet.

You don't have to take a focus off to deactivate it, man. :)

That burst is aimed to arc over and beyond the far side of the structure.

09 TN (Extreme Range)
-1 Target Stationary
+3 Burst Fire
-3 Gyromount
=8

SMG Skill is 5
Dice rolled =9 9 4 2 2
Dice rolled by Dashifen's DCRS roller thingy

I need to find my copy of M&M to see whether the cyber SMG is just SA/BF or SA/BF/FA.

Out of curiosity why are you rolling for an intentional miss? Is there something on the far side of the building you expect to hit?

Also does anybody else feel like we need to work on our decision making process? This feels like it's taking forever.

What process? James decides. We gripe. Then we do it. :D Seems to be working fine.

I meant the italics in my posts. It just seemed like you answered his thought. Could have been the way I was reading it, though.

Wonder Twin Powers... activate! Form of... a dice bot!

LinguaSofts (Identify Glyphs): 2 4 4 1 1 7
LinguaSofts (Read Glyphs; 3 Task Pool): 5 1 3 5 2 17 8 5 3

Just to clarify, the first roll is to see if Cosmo recognizes any of the runes while cross-referencing them with all the ancient runic languages on his clustersoft. The second is to actually read any of them that he does recognize.

As for the decision-making bit, yeah, it seems to be doing all right so far. I'm sure if things turn sour, we'll actually start respecting the militant guy. But for now, we're pretty sticking to our guns in reference to our specialties. Especially with some of the odd suggestions going around. Yanno, like blowing up a huge crystal before knowing exactly what it is or, more importantly, what the reprecussions will be by doing so. :)

1>That process works for me at home...

2>Read everything James has said, and see it as a hardened, cynical vet speaking. James is getting tired of the attitude he is getting from a minority of the group :-P~

boo. hoo.

Echo that.

I hear you on the Sam Elliot voice but Chase just doesn't see James as a much of an authority figure. The bit with firing off the cybergun in the air burned the credit James had earned since the last spat.

I can't speak for the other characters but Chase thinks of himself as hardened vet, too. I think justifiably so. I did come up with his background. :)

While Cosmo's waiting for the others to figure out what they're going to do after checking to see if the disturbance occurs again when he approaches the door, he's going to back off and start fiddling with his Personal Comm Unit behind the safety of Chase (and don't worry, man, he's going to work on that Troll sign for your back soon enough). Basically, he's setting it up to quickly scan through a huge array of radio signals to see if any of them trigger anything on the door. Dunno what to roll if anything, but here's an Electronics Test with Theoretical Cryptography as a Complimentary Skill if it helps any, just in case...

Electronics (Task Pool 3): 5 1 3 4 3 5 11 3 1
Advanced Mathematics (Theoretical Cryptography): 2 9 5 5 5 1 1 3

Not to be a pain, Shadow, but I don't think you ever responded about Cosmo's calculations and stuff with the timestamps on the drones and why they never saw nightfall. Was it another PM that got lost or something?

Sorry Clock, I am getting a diluge of PM's recently and it is hard to keep up with them.

You guys are in the entry way. It is in the Zig a little (about 4 meters) so it provides shelter.

No worries, man. :) Part of the fun in playing back a slow fella like Cosmo is that I get to rationalize all kinds of epiphanies and stuff that happen well after the fact. :D

Chase is not "cowering." He has taken a more "tactically defensive posture." Thank you very much. :D
