Extending a Cyberspur is a Simple action? Or is it free?
Either way, James is going for a kidney punch with spur out, double whammy. Would personally run it as 4M and a called shot. Friends in Melee and possibly a reach bonus for the spur. This is an impaling attack, a kidney/liver strike takes days to die from, but requires advanced medical techniques to survive. |

Hey, Shadow, which dot was Os in the map you showed us? And it is Os...nothing to do with his nationality. :)

Sorry man, I got confused. You [Os] would be next to Chase.
Moonstone, I need to know what weapon you are using. |

Didn't get a chance to roll SUT earlier.
Rolled 04 05 04 03 That should give me one additional Combat Pool die. Which I think I'm gonna need. Body + 1 Gets me: 05 01 02 10 15 08 Staged it down to another M. Well now I'm at S, this is going to be a pain to fix now. Torque's weapon is a modified Remington 950s, base Damage 9S, firing Regular Ammo, sporting rifle ranges, Torque has mag 3 and Thermographic cybereyes if range or vision mods apply (I don't think they're out of Short for one of those anyway.) |

GD isn't in melee. You have to be within 1 meter? maybe 2 to be a friend in melee. GD will get there next pass.

Well with an S wound I'm not going to be too useful in the rest of the fight so I'll just drop prone and pretend to be dead for the moment.

BGMFH,
You have two damages to resist. His somewhat weak attack with the staff itself, which does 10M stun (Impact Armor applies) and then the somewhat more powerful energy discharge, which does 6S (No armor applies). If you have insulated armor though, reduce the amount of damage by the rating. This isn't your fathers Jaffa. :vegm: :vegm: :vegm: :vegm: :vegm: :vegm: :vegm: :vegm: :vegm: |

Ninjitsu Test for Zoning. No damage scored if successful, though the superior position modifier will apply fot the next attack: 1, 5, 5, 3
Ninjitsu Test for attack, +1 power from Hardliner Gloves: 8, 8, 1, 5 Evasion next turn to avoid any counter-attack: 4, 4, 11, 2 And then run away regardless of whether the attack is dodged. As an aside, I'm beginning to think that meleeing this guy isn't such a great idea. He appears to be kicking our collective asses. I hope Ghost Dragon can dodge his staff. |

Ah, Shadow, Os' wires are on, right? If not, he's turning them on, as well as popping the current clip and changing the firing mode of the Alpha to full-auto.

How do you want this rolled Shadow?
Basically, I want to put my palm in his face just long enough to mentally trigger a burst and slam his face with three bullets |

Roll a ranged attack as normal. I'll apply a called shot penalty. |

Tziluthi, when you inputed your character into the DCRS you forgot your reaction bonus from the Wired Reflexes. Go ahead and go when you want to go. When Ran goes one more time, I will post the new Initiative. |

I should probably be trying to help in the melee too, although with a +3 wound modifier I wouldn't be getting anywhere the extra friend might help everybody else.
This sort of situation really brings to light Arethusa's complaints about a person in melee gets way too many actions when defending. |

No, no, no...I'm not upset or even feeling neglected. In fact I'm kinda relieved that Chase isn't in the melee (yet).
I said the "alive" thing as a joke. I guess I should have used " :D " or " :grinbig: " instead of ":)" Sorry. Anyways, in the words of Niobe: "Go kick his ass." :) I got an open bar with my name written all over it.... check you guys tomorrow! |

If you have ever been in melee or studded martial arts you would know that there is only so much space for people to attack you. And if you are trained properly, you can turn every block, or defensive maneuver into an attack of it's own.
In other words I like the melee rules. So let's leave any discussion of other peoples munchkin brand rules at the door. |
