I thought you just had a lower TN, for "Action very Obvious" when running, which would set the TN right at 18 since it's -4 and the normal TN is 4. Has this been errata'd?

I'm going to have to start collecting the advanced books, I can tell. The BBB just doesn't cut it these days.

This is for the heat, right?
Body (5) Test: 4, 3, 3, 4 = no succeses I doubt I would have gotten any anyway, since Ghost Dragon has a +7 modifier right now. |

If you didn't get any successes, then you take a light (stun) wound.

Do you want/need any rolls for the random selection of a coordinate or the ferrying of everyone to the 'gate? Also, is there enough time in between all that to jury rig one of the radios to send a quick signal through the gate on its scheduled opening, leaving it behind and semi-burried to avoid detection?

You have addresses, complete addresses. All you need to do is pick one.
As for the jury rig radio, you could, but you would need to use one complete comm. system to do it. |

Okay, when I have the chance, I'll run all the addresses I have through a few simple algorithms, looking for the one with the most used symbols and then cross-referencing it with the one that lead here and any that seem like the most likely symbols corresponding to home. I'll pick the one at the top of whatever list results. In essence, I'm looking for major trade lanes. :)
And I have two radios; my own personal comm unit and the transiever Gates gave each of us. |

Gimmie a computer roll, feel free to use your hacking pool.
For the rebuild on the radio, I will need an electronics test, any engineering knowledge skills can be used complimentary. Base time is 10 minutes. Cosmo will have to do it though.... |

I'm going to use his Index Channel if that's okay, with Advanced Mathematics as complimentary? It seems more appropriate for the task (the only difference being two fewer dice, actually).
Channel: Index (+8 Hacking Pool dice): 4 3 5 2 9 2 2 2 1 2 4 4 5 1 4 1 Advanced Mathematics + Math SPU 3 (Complimentary): 2 5 11 4 8 2 4 1 3 5 5 7 |

Assuming we have Time, Torque will see to all wounds while Cosmo's dialing the gate. Here's the rolls for when/if that happens:
Healing Torque TN is 11 (8 +3 Wounds, -1 Body, +1 Bad conditions) Biotech/First Aid: 02 02 03 01 03 14 03 Complimentary Dice (Medkit + Medicine): 05 02 01 03 02 03 02 09 02 02 19 17 04 04 2 Net successes, reduction to M wound, should take 21 seconds. Healing James: TN is 8 (6 +2 Wounds, -1 Body, +1 Bad conditions) Biotech/First Aid: 08 02 01 12 04 03 Complimentary Dice (Medkit + Medicine): 02 04 01 05 08 01 04 03 04 04 15 01 3 Net Successes, should stage to L in 9 seconds. |

Just to let everyone know, I will be out of town starting Thursday, and I will not have access to a computer. I will return late Sunday night.
I know it's kind of sudden, but suddenly being fired from my new job - for BS reasons I might add - gives me lots of free time to do things like go to my girlfriend's family reunion out in the boonies, which is where I'll be. For guidance in playing Ghost Dragon as an NPC, assume that once the gate is open, he will be one of the last to go through, and he will remain invisible until then. Once on the other side, he will look around cautiously before settling down to try and rest off his stun damage at the gate while the others scout around, assuming there is time, and there are not other deadly things on the other side trying to kill everyone too. Ghost Dragon will rest off stun and help with healing after he is healed. Ghost Dragon MIGHT throw a grenade at any attackers before or after travelling through the gate, but he will probably not cast any spells, unless he has to. Any spellcasting will be done from astral space while projecting, and he will drop any sustained spells to get the maximum effect, reserving all spell pool dice available to resist drain. |

Just a word-up to let everyone know that I (RoUS) decided to change my name yet again. I know it's annoying, but I was getting equally annoyed with how my last name scrolled at the "Size" part, and I'm just way too anal to deal with it. :) Promise this will be the last name change (for at least a couple of months). :)

Perception (via Sensors) test to see if Cosmo could get a reading on what caused the sound, then another to see if he can find the DHD's signature.

I say we capture whatever that creature is, throw a saddle on after breaking it, and ride it home through the stargate. It's just the right size to fit through (6m x 6m) if we get it to tuck in its tummy on the ride through.
