As for From Stargate to Atlantis, the ads lied to me. <grr> But no, probably not. Honestly, the premise for the show is even worse than Stargate so I'm probably going to pass on it. :) |

Well, you're not missing that much...its interesting if you're into the show but thats about it. I am chopping at the bit for the new season so I needed a SG1 fix. (sigh) It'll do. :)
Edit: I don't think we need to move the DHD since Cos figured out the Ring Device. We can all fit inside the rings right? |

Doesn't matter. :) He'd likely send you guys ahead first then do it on himself or use his board to get there in time (he learned it stays open as long as a signal is being transmitted, remember).
In any case, I want the DHD so that they can have one back at the home base. ;) |

Good point. I forgot that the Russian DHD got fried. ;)
All of which brings up some interesting points: 1) in all the episodes (except the one where the afore mentioned Russian DHD got fried) the DHD is not physically connected to the Gate. Interesting. 2) I wonder what would happen if a DHD was sent through the wormhole it opened--if anything. |

Nothing, probably, since it just dials and initiates the gate. The gate itself is what creates the wormhole and sustains it.

Can they be moved? I've watched a few episodes now because of this game, because I found out my dad is into the show, and because strangely enough, my girlfriend watches it now and then as well. She's a keeper! :D
In all of the episodes that I saw, the DHD was mounted to a pedestal that was stuck in the ground. Do you just take it off and move it? Does it have a power source to worry about? |

To answer your question, that DHD can be moved, but it is doubtful you guys will be able to move it. It is mounted on the floor and it looks to be mounted solidly. |
