I once tried this pizza that had.. basically taco salad on top of it.. lettuce and everything.
So it looked like someone had spewed in the pizza box, but it tasted great. hehehe.. just thought I should dampen all of your ravenous appetites with that last one there... |

The Crew
I may act like Jack, but James is much closer to Jonas Quinn in many ways. Such as not being confused by technical details. |

Well, I want APDS because it's what I had always PLANNED on having Ghost Dragon carry. I unfortunately had to change that when I entered him into a game, one of Grendel's I think, where the GM decided that we couldn't use APDS unless we stole it. Ghost Dragon is just taking advantage of the free gear, and IC, he already knows that something is going to go wrong because he thinks the two guys are taking the wrong approach. In his opinion, they should have already sent a dog through and taken pictures of the gate and its DHD from the other side. Simply send the drone through and put it on standby. Open the gate again and order it to take pictures with a burst signal. Open the gate again and order it to send them back with another burst signal. It's all so simple, but they haven't figured this out. You see?

Anyone who has equipment requests can leave them with Emma when or if they choose to leave. In other words email me or PM me and I will get back to you with what they can get you. While they have a lot do not expect any military grade hardware.

Somewhat less sarcastically, they *did* do all of that. Specifically, they did send a drone through, pre-programmed so they wouldn't have to worry about opening the Gate an extra time (saving energy and time), and have picked up a few pictures for the bargain, including the DHD. It was only when they left the drone there to do 24 hours of pre-programmed recon that it disappeared, hopefully due to some sort of natural occurence or perhaps a fault in the programming (Lord knows that we can't even get things to work right when we're driving them interactively; programming a drone to operate on alien terrain must be light-years more difficult.) As for sending a dog through: why do you think they hired you people? :D Seriously, you guys are probably less important than dogs; particularly since, unlie a dog, they don't have to pay *any* overhead hiring a group of shadowrunners if you die en route. As for asking for APDS and the like, I'm just surprised that you'd even *ask* for something like that from a research group's storage locker with a straight face. The stuff's Availability 14, the highest I've seen in *any* sort of equipment. As I interpret it, that means it should be almost impossible to get, and generally *not* something you can just casually ask for and think you have a snowball's chance in hell of actually getting. Y'know, like a heavy APC or deltaware implantation clinic or something. Does anyone else think this, or is my newbieness showing again? :) |

Heh, cool. :) Something I just noticed. I thought I was just joking, but it's true: a Rating 6 Betaware clinic and a rating 2 *DELTAWARE* clinic are both Availability 13, so it actually *is* easier to buy the equipment for a deltaware implantation clinic than it is to get APDS ammunition. :D
