After some deliberation, Gardner will speak up. "You said the Foundation would have liked to recover it, would that be the Atlantean Foundation?"

"Atlantean Foundation....What makes you think they are interested in this business?"

"I'm not sure that he does think they're interested. He asked if by 'the Foundation' you meant the Atlantean Foundation, or if you were referring to a different foundation."

Moreau looks over at Mr. White speaking up before Gardner could answer the question on his own with some suspsicion. "I believe our large friend here is capable of answering a question himself. It simply strikes me as odd that he would jump to the conclusion that I am of the Atlanteans. There are a great many foundations of one sort or another even within the small confines of this city."

He takes a moment to think about what could be going on in your minds. You begin to soften your guard around him. Surely you can talk freely with this man. He has only been concerned with the safety of his daughter. As your nose tickles ever so slightly, he speaks smoothly in a calming voice "No. I do not work for the Atlantian Foundation, but please do tell me what you know of them and how they might be connected to the stone."

[OOC - please give me an Ettiquette roll to resist the charms (and tailored pheromones) of this kind father figure.]

edit: Perhaps i am being a bit harsh. You can give me an social skill check to try to make him think Gardner randomly guessed that the Atlantean Foundation might be involved, rather than Moreau first suspicion that the Atlantean Foundation came up at some point during your mission which led Gardner to think Moreau was connected with them.

No roll needed. It is on purpose. I am purposefully letting it slip that the Atlantean Foundation is interested, but without outright saying anything (based on first impressions I like this guy better, so I want to give him a break).

Gardner smiles and raises his hands in a motion of innocence. "Oh, we saw some of Fiona's notes on the stone. I just thought the Atlantean Foundation might be interested in something like that. My mistake. I'm sorry we weren't able to help you with finding it."

The implication being that I've heard the Atlantean Foundation is interested, but nothing else really. Trying to give him a heads up, but without directly compromising our integrity. And if he wants to imply something Gardner will just smile and apologize that he couldn't be of more help.

Turning back to the group. "Anyway. No. I represent the Draco Foundations interests in the stone. If that's all you know of the Atlantean involvement, then there's nothing more to say. Thank you again for saving my Fi."

"Alright, it was nice to meet you. Perhaps we will be able to help out the Draco Foundation in the future." Gardner will shake Moreau's hand and be on his way.

You do also gain Moreau and Dana Oaks as a contact, both connection 4. You don't get Laurent because you didn't get the stone for him.

Alright I edited my post to reflect the additional contacts. Is there anything else you want to cover or is this game basically complete?

Did you want to go over Gardner trying to make ammends with the Skraacha? Or is that not a big deal...
I mentioned it in one of my posts as we were leaving, but I think it got overlooked and swept under as we were figuring out what to do about the boat.

I did see you mention wanting to make amends with the Skraacha. We can roleplay that out if you like, though it's not part of the SR Mission. So we could handwave it too.

At this point the Mission is complete.

Are you three interested in continuing onto a new Mission? If so, I'll put up a new recruitment thread so that we can get a couple new players to replace the two we lost.
