Feel free to start discussing how you guys know each other and maybe even some details about a couple runs you've been on. The initial scenario will take place after the group of you pulled off a run miraculously without a hitch. The Johnson didn't even try to double cross you if you can believe that. You went out on the town together to celebrate. After hours of living it up, you were leaving the local party scene around 3am when the bright lights of your friendly local StufferShack launched massive cravings for some dirty late night grub.

phlapjack77 - mystic adept or rigger Thanee - Technomancer DireRadiant - Face w/Gun Redjack - Adept Bastard - B&E/Covert ops Ok. How did we meet? Thrown together via our fixer? I see Flowers and {phlapjack77} are elves. Either hang out in Tarislar? Slacker - You want to throw out a run framework (or two) we've completed to build into our back stories? |

The first job you all worked together on was a raid on a bio-tech research facility run by Genitope (some legwork led you to believe Genitope is an un-acknowledged subsidiary of Evo Corporation). You were tasked to obtain some research documentation stored on their local servers before trashing their system and setting their research back as much as possible. The Johnson claimed to be from Shiawese, but it that was pretty obviously a false front. You didn't dig too much into that though since you got paid promptly without too much difficulty. You can't really expect Johnsons to be honest in the shadows, now can you?
That was six months or so ago. Since then you guys haven't exclusively worked together on jobs. You've each had several jobs in between where one or two of the others ran with you and unfortunately the only good parts of those jobs were each other. Left and right you seemed to either get stuck with bad runners or just drek jobs. A couple of you were the only survivors of an extraction job that ended up being a trap for a known whistleblower. Then there was the hit on a automated highway caravan where that dumb dwarf you got saddled with managed to antagonize a local go-gang while you were waiting in ambush. You had to ditch the job all together because of the entire auto-caravan ended up crashing its way off an overpass of the highway. I could go on, but you get the idea. Finally about a week ago, you got contact by the same fixer that hired you all for the run against Genitope. He got you all back together for a mission to protect a shipment of troll sized refrigerated enclosure to a biotech facility in Redmond. You got hit by some seriously fanatical Rusted Stilletos, though you aren't sure why. You didn't even think you were travelling through their turf at all when you got hit. Through well coordinated use of your skills, you managed to deal with them without even scratching your rides. After the last few months of struggling with random other shadowrunners, this smooth mission made you guys decide to make a go of it as a team. And that is what you were out celebrating. |

@Slacker - Do I smell a bonus contact? Fixer loyalty 1 or 2? @Slacker - Out celebrating? Is this a hint at you first IC post? Sure. Why not? You guys can all have a Loyalty 1 Connection 4 fixed contact by the name Gordon the Ironclad. Not sure where he got the name though because as far as you can tell he's a straight up un-cybered human. He's none too friendly (rather gruff when he talks to you) but hes gotten you a couple good jobs at least. And yeah. I think I mentioned it earlier (I meant to anyway) that the first IC scene will be around 3am after you've been out celebrating a successful job and the decision to make a go as a team. Before you all split up for the night you happened to stop at your friendly local StufferShack for some late night munchies. |

@Team - Late night break in or mid-day disguise, fake creds and bluff? It sounds like we're pretty well set up for both scenarios, but I'd vote for a mid-day disguise/fake creds/bluff approach...@All - Count Takako down for the cut-n-run; it helps explain his current bad finances. I could see another one or two in which Takako walked away from the negotiating table that violated his code of honor Yes, I also approve of something like this, esp. to reinforce the feeling of desperation that I feel should pervade most games (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Dunno if you've seen this Slacker, but this might help: SR5 quickstart with "Fast Food Fight" |

Yeah. I had seen the Food Fight in the German QSR that got out a month or so ago. But I've played the stuffershack version of food fight in every previous edition. And I've always enjoyed it. Ive already come up with a plotline that goes along with the bits of your previous runs I "randomly" came up with. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

gotcha!
Wonder what the price difference would be to take the pdf to a Kinko's or whatever and print it out instead of buying the print version...or if the pdf has a layout/feature that's not (very?) compatible with printing it out... |

Technically. I don't believe kinkos is supposed to let you print it our since it is a copyrighted book. But really I would not suggest doing that at all. Printing out a PDF creates a very bulky/unwieldy book far more so than a hardcopy released by a real printer. Oh and I should mention for those looking at drivethru already having the PDF up, a lot of people are complaining that its not the right copy. The formatting is wrong and there are no bookmarks in it. |

They still don't have bookmarks in it? I'm going to smack Jason. I'm thinking Drivethru must have released the wrong copy. I'm sure when they come out with the official announcement and it shows up on battelshop that it will have the bookmarks in it. They obviously have a copy with bookmarks because several of the reviewers mentioned how great the bookmarks are in the PDFs they were reviewing. |
