Just beat Dragonfall and had no issues on my Vista box. It was pretty awesome. A solid 16 hours of gameplay and good story.

there are no mods for dragonfall yet.
i think the only UGC mod for dragonfall is one that imports your DMS character into Dragonfall. |

you're doing it wrong then.
max out shotguns and you will NEVER need anything else really. get smartlink, get eyes, bam, almost always hit and do grivioous damage too. fuck that vindicator, it sucks compared to the burst fire shotgun option ._. |

get your shotgun skill high enough and shotgun them all.
spread-shot is beautifull against weaker enemies and the burst fire capable shotgun burst is beautifull for taking out bigger enemies! seriously, the shotgun is hellishly OP in SRR! for single shot highest damage and great accuracy over ranges you could go with the rifle. pistols and SMG are utterly worthless, as long as sniper and assault rifle both fall under the same skill actually. |

Pistols are actually incredible useful, because you can abuse tasers just as much as the bad guys can. The only shame is that taser pistols don't benefit from the same instant, AP 0 reload other pistols do, but that might just make them utterly, brokenly overpowered.
I found a taser in the last mission, and I stowed my Ares hoverdrone in favor of it. Big Burnt Orc is nothing without any AP, military armor or no. And the Enfield burst shotgun is not that good. Sure, you can shoot twice at somebody, but it takes 2 AP. With two AP, you could... Shoot twice at them anyway. And yes, it does have a higher critical hit range, but it uses five shells to do so. I mean, it's okay... But it's not THAT okay. |

Full auto rifle spam works much better in SRR than in SR3. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Exactly. I'd much rather full burst with an AR at that point or just take two normal shots with an SMG. I was dual-wielding a Ruger Thunder and a taser in the last mission. I called mine "Herr Zap." (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

I played a pistol using street samurai. Added a bit of flair and challenge, IMO.

No, the Cyberware Essence and Nuyen Values over all are still wrong. They fixed your ability to equip other runners with gear from your stash. No way, no how, aside from med kits and grenades . . . And it's still pretty railroady especially in the beginning. And it just crashed on me too, which the first part never did actually. Ok, so that's just a bug? I figured they were making them upgrade/bring their own gear. Was kinda pissed I couldn't give someone a gun I'd bought. |

The Game regards them a new character every time you get them on the mission screen.
So if you could give them stuff, it would be lost after the run. |

So is there even any point in playing then? Don't want to progress much if I can' upgrade the team's gear.

So is there even any point in playing then? Don't want to progress much if I can' upgrade the team's gear. They upgrade their own gear. They're characters, but not your characters, so you don't get to decide what skills and gear they get. They also earn money you can't spend and make dialogue choices you don't pick. |

Uh, my team doesn't misplace consumables I give them but they can't give it back to the stash after I give it to them.
They automatically upgrade skills and weapons. |

Even if you're spending your own money to buy your own upgrades, if your chummer spends her money to buy you a new gun, you don't say no.
This especially annoys me with Eiger - she has three weapon slots, but by default will only bring a shotgun and a sniper rifle. Even if I like her choices of shotgun and sniper rifle, I wish I could give her my old assault rifle. |

Or ANY assault rifle, for when enemies are between ranges for the shotgun and sniper.

I just wish you could transfer stuff from one char to another during a mission. Or at least switch active character.

got dragonfall a few days back. One thing that this one was better in was the saves. The first game so many times the wife nagged me off to do something and I had to start completly over again. Now I can play a few minutes, save and go to something, come back right when i left off. nice! in returns the sister and the telestrian elf babe were lookers. Daggerfall has some nice ones too.
