There's a few other morals to that, story, too.

1: Never (need to) carry an explosive larger than your head.
2: Never carry an explosive that won't fit in your launcher.
3: Never carry an explosive with a minimum safe distance which exceeds 80% of your launcher's maximum range.

Don't carry detonators and explosives in the same bag either.

Quite funny, I'm currently reading "Better to Ask Forgiveness" by Michael Z. Williamson, the book mostly revolves around a group of mercenaries hired for executive protection. The striking detail is their demolitions expert, Elke.
Case in point:
QUOTE ("Better to Ask Forgiveness" by Michael Z. Williamson)
Bishwanath said, "Young lady . . ." and she paused. ". . . Elke, am I to understand you have half a tonne of explosives mining my palace?"
"No, sir," she said, and he seemed to relax. "I have half a tonne in this wing. Total amount throughout the palace is one thousand, one hundred, twenty-three point seven kilos." With that, she turned and strode briskly out the door.

Mind you, she naturally has the good stuff.
So far, it's been a pleasant read and coincides perfectly with this thread (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

None of his explosives are as big as his head. They all fit in convenient, batarang-sized packages. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Wait, is that the original user's head (pixie sized) or the head of the man shaped drone they are driving?

I should clarify: 80% of your launcher's maximum range is the upper limit for the explosive, not the minimum.

Though, knowing PCs, yeah, they'll treat it as a minimum and a maximum. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Funny, that was the first question that popped into my head when I saw that post. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Ironically, that pixie never messed with demolitions. At most she used grenades and ex-ex ammo. Old Man Jones, on the other hand, seemed to have explosive charges secreted pretty much everywhere.

"Wait, how do you have the facility covered with charges already? We just got here." "YOU just got here. I visited the place last night."

Our group blew up some kind of explosive tanks in the middle of seattle in the harbour district after a run went totally sideways:
The mission was to extract scientists, some of the equipment and to blow up the remaining equipment that was there. So during the shadows of the night, we accessed the port area with some fake company ids and disguises, which made already some serious magic necessary as we had to mind control some guards.

Anyways we infilitrated the target (a small ship), and started searching. First room being checked was the guards room .. So from now on we had to hurry. After we got everything we blew up the ship with some c4 maximizing the firepower by placing the explosives at good locations.

Someone else blew up the whole ship about 20 seconds later, we don't know why yet or who though... But that was not everything on that evening. Now we had a bazillion of lonestar units searching for us, we ran and tried to escape and took some wrong turns. We endet up in a dead end, which now escalated quickly.... 1st I found out that shooting on cars with a heavy pistol is a waste of time and ammo. Also when neurostun grenades are thrown at you you should run away...

So the whole group scrambled into various directions to stay alive, when one of us went ocmpletely crazy and startd to blow up some big oil tanks and such stuff, so a huge explosion and fire spread out quickly, which helped the others to escape. I levitated into some port corp building and luckily disguised again as normal worker with a fake id.

one character drowned while escaping. One character stood no chance when taking fire from the lonestar drones , helicopters and what not... and to our surprise our minotaur happened to carry some "diving suit" with him , which allwoed him to swim away w/o trouble...

Well this was the biggest explosion our team caused so far.....
