If it was a tourist stop I'd assume canned food, survival equipment, warm clothes, climbing equipment personal tents. Perhaps some backup generator in case of storms. Few weapons for hunting, kitchen supplies (plates, pots) things like that, Blankets, hats comlinks, flashlights it seems after all that whomever was there left in a hurry leaving all sort of things behind. Oh and definitely a 'park map' (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

In all fairness to the dystopia we are in, the hut was along a road, so may not have been as well provisioned as one meant to shelter hikers far from anything. And even leaving quickly, people may have grabbed high value items ... but a park map on the wall sounds like a certainty!

And I'll pass that to irm0rchid, since Lindsey did the heavy lifting (posting) of getting people here, and we literally swooped in at the last minute.

There's a small kitchen so whatever might reasonably be in there. There might be some electronics but they haven't had a charge in a while so no idea if they even can be now!? There will be some canned food but whatever AR tags there were to identify contents are long gone and labels are badly faded!

If there are cans of food, there ought to be a can opener of some kind and some pots and pans would be a real treasure, along with any bedding materials that would have survived the time and disuse.

I think the real treasure is the park map as we'll know where to expect other buildings like that one.

Adam: Pierre is offering to teamwork. 9 dice in artisan(carpentry), so could buy a couple of hits if that helps you at all.

It's armourer for the bows, so artisan wouldn't help much (Cailin uses it to make the bows pretty. Even if she didn't finish Raf's one yet, since he put his feet in his mouth before she could ^^ And with all that happened after that, she didn't get to continue. Maybe she will...)

Yeah, Aria pretty much dispensed with the dice on this, though Raf does have armorer skill specialized in bows.

Just said four days per bow & arrows set.

And i know the rules say you're supposed to put in, like, eight hours per day, so I just don't have Raf do much else, just whittle away.

Not really sure if we are on day four or five - I see different time stamps - but I thought it was five, with Raf one day into the second bow.

Whatever - if Pierre devoting serious time to the project lets me take any days off, cool.

RP-wise of course Raf is fine with the help...will IC.

I couldn't think of a way to deal with anything inside since Lindsey sent the spirit in to check for safety first while setting up the camp but then Dana went off before that could happen. I've got no vested interest in what's in there, so you can go ahead. Lindsey is going to wait for the all clear (no living/magic) from the spirit before looking inside (or having someone else do it). And yes, trying to show she's bitter about the party crashing despite being fairly cordial with Dana previously. ;P

Poor Dana will have to live with a large group (IMG:style_emoticons/default/frown.gif)

and Aria already said ooc that there is no magic/life inside.

I'll let Lindsey be the one to react to Dana's announcement, as I'd imagine she'll want to spin the situation to her advantage, and Addie is staying out of that morass as long as she can. Lindsey can even be in there to look around before Addie, if Irn0rchid wants.

Happy to bump things along if it would help but I sort of need to know where you all want to go from here (having handily killed off all the NPCs that might try and decide for you (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ork.gif) )

I was trying to put a post together for this thread today, but my brain wasn't functioning well today so never found the right words. Basically:

- should Lindsey, Dana, and Addie try to be back for leadership discussions? Or merge things later?

- Also, we seem to have lost momentum. Thoughts on what people would like us to be moving toward? We can still have Characters talking and interacting and pursuing their own projects, but drifting them in a direction, as it seems like at times we kind of cancel each other out?

Dana has not the slightest interest in how things are organized or who is in charge, she is too chaotic to be the one ordering things.
The only context I see Dana leading something is if we make a war party on the toxic mage, but since we are so limited in equipment and we placed that huge bear there - it seems like most of our PCs can do very little with regard to combat, and the challenges are large mutated beasts and spirits.

So other than Caillin and Lindsey that can send spirits to help - does it even make sense for Dana to take anyone else with her? (Caillin is capable and is a pacifist Lindsey will not come, Maya and Raff will come but unarmed and unarmored what can they do?)

So I think Dana will go and slay the toxic mage alone - unless I am missing something (or with Caillin) simply because the rest are incapable of handling that kind of threat. We can also try and have Addie solve it with seduction/ruse and zap the mage unconscious with her shock arm - that I feel is a more interesting resolution than one big solo combat, and then Dana can handle the angry bear if we need to.

I feel that that solution is better as it involves more PC's and is also more interesting than a plain (solo?) combat.

Maya would rather not take on the mage at all and will counsel against it, as she has in the past. She is for organizing and moving away from here. She is now actively got her hat in the ring for group leader and will accept that role if others want her to and if no one else steps up. The leadership stuff is new to her and she will make lots of mistakes, but she will try her best to lead the group to safety.

Right now, she is waiting for the evening, so she can talk to everyone remaining and find out who wants to stay with her and who wants to strike out on their own. She would like very much for Dana and Addie to return and would even accept Lindsey if she would stop trying to manipulate people to cause friction.

She will stay and help whoever is selected as the leader if that is someone other than her. She is not a mage or a warrior, but she is a survivor and can help others survive.

You cannot get away though, his spirits have almost unlimited range and he already killed one of us. He knew that Rick was the leader and the main one to support aggression against him. I was hoping to reason with him, but I feel that if we ignore the threat he'll just possess more kids and kill them with radiation. Perhaps now that we have a counter spell it will not work though, but he can have the possessed kids just suicide somehow. It can still get VERY ugly and terrifying.

I'm all for the PCs getting back together again...and I've been nudging you that way for a bit (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) ...bear in mind with the toxic, he didn't seem inclined to come in person, if you have two or more spirits on guard then something like the possession isn't likely to happen again! (Cailan, Dana, Sim can all summon) That's if you group together of course...apart you are easy pickings (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ork.gif)

Not trying to unduly influence you but if you run I think it unlikely that he'll pursue! Of course Lindsey's group is merrily tripping straight at him at the moment! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
