Oh, and give me a computer roll for Eyes, please, as he sorts through Dr. Casimir's server.

My apologies for my apparent absence, i`ve only just learned that Opera (my regular browser) doesnt actually like posting on dumpshock, which may explain while the past couple of weeks i`ve been missing things. So I`m back on using IE (which i`d stopped using due to a couple of nasty virus's) My apologies again to everyone who's been waiting on me.

Glad to have you back Moirdryd! I have to ask (since I never heard of EITHER of those browsers), were you just not seeing all our posts, and thinking that all of us had just stopped posting? :)

Sentinel, just take it one statement at a time in this conversation. In other words, don't try to condense it by doing a Statement One, "waiting to see the reaction to this", Statement Two, "watching the reaction to this", Statement Three, etc.

You're going to need one hour per Force strength of ward you intend to establish.

Andie, Sam, and the dog are the only people in the room; and if you go into the teaching room you'll find only the man on the cot.

I'll be checking this again later today.

IE is Internet Explorer :-)

No i saw your posts, and have been trying to keep up (I missed the one page with Bandit's to me on though) and even thought i was posting, but for some reason Opera wasnt completing the posting send, its only when i went and looked back at stuff the other night i noticed a couple of my posts were not infact on the boards. Also Opera didnt seem to register my track topic selection either.

anyway, back now on IE for the Dumpshock stuff.

I've been using Mozilla Firefox with no problems. It's better than IE by far, blocks popups very well, and I have yet to find a website it doesn't work with. Haven't heard much about Opera, actually; is that the one with the mouse gestures and other nifty things like that?

That's a sporadic server issue, not a browser-specific issue. It's because we're back on the old server until Neuron Basher figures out why the new one keeps crashing without warning.

PMs are temporarily full my end -- will get them cleared out when I'm back on track after the weekend.

ok, Sedna, I want to verify that Alleycat isn't going to be doing anything in particular, as it relates to Blaze, until about 8-9 AM. If that is true I'll go ahead and post Blaze's morning up until calling Alleycat, if it's not true please let me know.

The Epitaph and the Black Brothers are pulled (mostly) from my own head; nothing like that exists in canon from what I can tell. Feel free to do whatever you like with them.

New guys in the posting arena:

Bay Bomber: Open
-SF native, in Seattle on "business"

Freedom Fighter: Open
-SF native; part of the MPA but also helping out the Black Brothers. Tends to know a lot about the dark underbelly of the Berkeley shadows.

Gullah Joe: Open
-Nothing really set in stone with this guy yet. Just stole the name from a book, really.

Alrighty, now time to work on my actual post. :)

One of those feelings you just can't deny. :)

(Edit): I swear I'll post something else later; for some reason I just can't think of anything to *do* with Eyes right now. I have a whole list of things he *should* be doing, but none involve company. :) Guess I never gave much thought to his more social hobbies before, seeing as all mine are rather antisocial too.

I've made an open joke with my boss that, should I ever catch a single motivational poster at my work, I'll repaper my walls their demotivational counterparts. Nice one! :D

And for something to do: whiskey helps (or so my character would say). ;)

Today and tomorrow are the catch-up days.

paul, I've only got a couple more "overnight" posts planned for Alleycat, neither of which should involve Blaze before the mid/late morning (if you were planning on calling her) or later (meet re new prospects for run). So go ahead with whatever you were planning, it will work my end.

WinterRat, ronin, bandit: did you have very much more of substance you wanted to go through in that discussion? Relative storyline "speeds" are starting to be a significant issue.

I'll get the karma awards up later, e-mail caught up after that, PMs cleared out after that, and shortly thereafter I'll try to consolidate the descriptions as given of the various SL NPC players. Then I'll get back to the webbing :)

Sedna- Nothing of substance. We were basically killing time till you got back I believe. Bandit, Ronin, correct me if I'm mistaken. Feel free to move us ahead as you see fit, per the earlier email reply I sent you.

For Alleycat searching/finding/dealing with people in the area, the rolls are on the bottom of p.55.

I'm consolidating status of Shadowland NPCs here. (The site map will eventually all be intuitive and all the links work, etc. etc, maybe by some day when I don't have another break-in.)

Heh, and don't anyone else feel pressured to write similar "stats" for their SL NPCs or anything; I'll just assume everyone's open and impossible to portray wrongly unless someone says otherwise. :) (Edit: Wait, that should be :nuyen:  :nuyen: )

Darn it Sedna, you beat me to it! After Daedalus's short post about the picture, i was thinking that exact thing, but I wanted to mull it over before posting. Now you've stolen my thunder! :(
