Poll is up :) (Alphabetical order. Next time it will be alphabetical order backwards.)
Belated Sunday karma (for three weeks! sorry about that) bandit: 1 (+1 GM bonus) = 2 ronin: 1 [July 11-17] + 1 [July 25-31] = 2 Sentinel: 1 [July 25-31] = 1 WinterRat: 1 (+1 GM bonus +1 for the venture onto Shadowland) [July 11-17] + 1 (+1 GM bonus) [July 18-24] (+1 GM bonus) [July 25-31] = 6 bandit: [ Spoiler ] WinterRat: [ Spoiler ] Sentinel: You're clear to write through the rest of that day and night (unless you want to initiate social contact), although the dog will need walking again that evening and again tomorrow morning, and once again Andie seems to be the only available person. The circulation is fine (Sam seems to know what he is doing), although the wards still need strengthening. The shop's still locked up, and will be all day. It's just Andie and Sam and the other guy and the dog in the shop; and the three of them will stay out of Andie's way in the teaching room unless he initiates social contact. |

WR1 - I am going to give you my rolls now for the spell so it will be easier when I post in the IC thread. As I recall Scrap or the decker were going to try to open the doors before I hit the guards, unless they get alerted to our presence.
Or you can just write in the outcome in your post as you are controlling the decker and my action will be coming after yours. [ Spoiler ]

bclements: There's not much you can make out. Marquis seems to have a target, but you're not sure where he's located. There are a number of bodies lying on the floor of the garage, but the smoke makes it almost impossible to identify who they are.

I don't want to stick my nose in where it doesn't belong but is there really a pitched battle going on in the Sea-Tac long term parking?

Slip and Scrap- Roll initiative please
Guards Resistance Rolls, Willpower (4) at TN 5: Guard 1: 21 05 05 05 (sometimes being a very good dice roller can lead to very interesting outcomes) = 4 successes; zero net successes for Max, he’s completely unaffected by the spell Guard 2: 05 05 02 01 (and sometimes it doesn’t make the slightest bit of difference) = 2 successes; 2 net successes for Max, spell is staged from S to D, Guard 2 is unconscious. Guard 1’s initiative roll: 9 Oh, and roll surprise as well. Guard 1 Surprise test: 11 09 01 = 2 successes |

Oh yeah. Bastard's char and mine walked into a mexican standoff, and then Ecce's got into it and promply got kicked out of it. He's probably the safest of us all. Kinda snowballed from there into air-timed concussion grenades. I'm still wondering how we're going to get out. grendel: the hell with this. Full auto, spray and pray. I think I'm shooting in an arc from the pillar to the edge of the garage, facing south. Let's make 'em dive for cover or flush them out. Rolls: [ Spoiler ]

Aw Frag...
Initiative: 06 06 03 (+9) = 24 Unfortunately, someone will have to remind me about surprise. What do I roll? EDIT: Surprise: 13 08 05 04 02 Thanks, Sedna. This post has been edited by Scrapheap: Aug 3 2005, 06:51 PM |

RE, Scrapheap, TN usually 4.
That makes what, at least five pitched battles between the 6th and the 11th?
Bad week for Sea-Tac generally too. |

Well doesn't that just suck.
Bad dice on my part and good dice on the GM's part. Suprise roll = 11, 05, 03, 01 Initiative = Reaction 4 + 3 = 7 |

There was another shootout (or, as I like to term it, 'minor military action') over next to the Barrens on the 9th. People just like shooting in Seattle, I guess.

WR1-
Might as well post my next action now. Assuming I go first, as soon as it's obvious that the guard is not going down I'll step through the door and fire the Ingram, burst mode. [ Spoiler ]

You forgot the gunfight at the Big Rhino at lunch time on the 7th. I mean…no wait, your list is correct. You missed nothing that has already transpired. Great job Sedna… 8) |

Scrap- You cannot have more combat pool dice than you have base skill dice, so in this case you are limited to 4 combat pool, hence I will need a reroll.
For planning purposes, he has partial cover (+4) from being behind a desk. No visibility modifiers, so your TN will be: Base Range: Short = TN 4 -2 Smartlink +3 recoil -3 recoil comp +4 partial cover -1 target stationary Net TN: 5 And yes, you go first. Order for the first pass is: Scrapheap Guard Tyler Professor Iris Slip, Scrap- Let me know if you have any more questions, otherwise go ahead and make your roll Scrap, modified as per the notes above. Sidenote: To my players, just kidding about my last OOC post… :) And of the six (counting the ‘minor military action in the Barrens’) gunfights in the last few days, Dragon has been involved in three of them. Maybe he needs to reconsider the way he’s been going about his biz… (Although if he did, we wouldn’t have the Blimp of DOOM tm incident…) |

On the bright side Sedna, I can't claim that Dragon's life has been boring, that's for sure. :cyber:

Boring does tend to lead to a longer life expectancy though. So does not standing there and shrugging off SMGs and pistols, and not pissing off mob bosses, and not sleeping with the target ...

Hey! That was before all this stuff went down! You can’t hold that against me! Er, against Dragon!
Man! Even in Shadowrun, those old flames come back to haunt you. Upon further thought, maybe it should be 'especially in Shadowrun'... |
