Slip- I knew you understood. I just couldn't resist cracking a bad joke. I need something to make me laugh, and we've had some pretty good ongoing jokes in the LITS universe. Ya gotta take some falls if you try to be a comedian. :(

Kind of like the old joke.

Stooge 1: I heard something interesting on the radio.

Stooge 2: Really what is it?

Stooge 1: A thing with with nobs and dials that you listen too, but that's not important right now.

Ba-dum-dum.

or

Stooge 1: Surely your not serious.

Stooge 2: Of course I'm serious and don't call me Shirley.

Striker was the squadron leader, but he couldn't handle it.

Buddy couldn't handle it? Was Buddy one of the crew?

Right. Buddy was the bombardier. But it was Striker who couldn't handle it, and he went to pieces.

Andy went to pieces?

No. Andy was the navigator. He was all right. Buddy went to pieces. It was awful how he came unglued.

Howie came unglued?

Oh, no. Howie was a rock, the best tailgunner in the outfit. Buddy came unglued.

And he bailed out?

No. Andy hung tough. Buddy bailed out. How he survived, it was a miracle.

Then Howie survived?

No, 'fraid not. We lost Howie the next day.

Over Macho Grande?

No. I don't think I'll ever get over Macho Grande. Those wounds run pretty deep.

If you quoted that from memory, that is really quite impressive.

Grendel - Very Impressive

"Hang loose blood she gonna catcha on the rebound, with da Medici."

"Yo yo mama, I dug her rap."

"Cut me some slack jack."

**fast Jive talk ensues**

"Chump don't want no help, chump don't get no help. Jive @$$ fool ain't got no brains anyhow."

Man that movie was hilarious.

"Roger over. Over done."

"Give me a vector Victor."

Oh my goodness…I’ve started an epidemic! :)

On a more business-like note, Slip and Scrap- It’s pretty obvious Scrap might take a while longer to catch up in RL, since he has to finish his conversation with Rosa and then his interrogation of the goon.

Why don’t you two decide OOC if you want to let Scrap/John play through his stuff IC and then catch up with Max to meet the Wongs, or if you want to say that Max goes to meet the Wongs without John (although he can of course call to tell Max to go on without him). After you two decide, we’ll proceed, since I don’t want to post Max forward if we’re going to say he waits for John before leaving.

I’ll tell you both as a GM I’m perfectly fine with either of those options, it’s entirely up to you two and the posting pace you want to set.

Slip-
PM sent.

WR1-
Would you say that I have a contact number for my Mr. Ueda contact? Or is that someone I would have to contact in person?

WR1 - I am ok with waiting. Work is still very busy right now. I will just keep watching and maybe work on a few other things until Scrap catches up.

Scrap- You have a contact number, but it's not direct to him, it's one of his flunkies, sorta like a secretary.

Sunday karma (three weeks! sorry about that):

bandit: 1 (+1 GM bonus) [September 26 - October 02] + 1 (+1 GM bonus) [October 03 - 09] +1 (+1 GM bonus) [October 10 - 17] = 6
grendel: 1 (+1 GM bonus) (+2 quality bonus) [October 10 - 17] = 4
ronin: 1 [September 26 - October 02] + 1 [October 03 - 09] +1 [October 10 - 17] = 3
WinterRat: 1 (+1 GM bonus) [September 26 - October 02] + 1 (+1 GM bonus) [October 03 - 09] +1 (+1 GM bonus) [October 10 - 17] = 6

* Taking it through the 17th (Monday), because that will be the usual day for assigning karma from now on.

And now, to see if I can manage to get a post up yet tonight -- but first, to finish the editing. Need ... physad power ... Multitasking ...

Opps Sedna. . . either I really earned 12 karma . . . or one of those "bandit's" should read "winterrat".

Sedna- You're free to post btw, since I didn't explicitly state that.

And ya know, not to be sexist or anything, but sometimes you just need a woman to play a woman. I swear, I feel like I have a better picture of Rosa in Sedna's last couple of posts than all the time I've spent thinking about and trying to develop her character in my mind. And I like Sedna's picture of Rosa a lot better than mine too. :) I just have to take my hat off to you.

Grendel- I reread your posts...you know, Vedic just oozes 'dark'. Not necessarily bad, or evil, but DARK. Those +2 quality points were well earned. And did anyone else find it slightly...disturbing that 'Toy' was in bold, because that's Vedic's name for Lilith? At least sometimes, it seems. A very good touch though Grendel, it definitely drove the nature of their relationship home.

PS- Hope I didn't offend any RL Ashlee Simpson fans out there (if we even have any in LITS) Anyone? Anyone? *looks around to see if anyone's raising their hand* :rotate:

Writing now, incidentally. :)

This is about the only time I get during the day to do any writing at all, at least on weekdays. We don't actually get web access at work ( :( )--not that I have time for it there anyway--and various other issues keep me busy during the day. (Looking for a better job is one of them :D)

I'll get a response up before going to bed.

(Edit): Heh, and then later that same day I end up waking early and writing again, at a completely different time. Guess fate's being funny with me. :)

Don't use the word pinchecabra around anyone from Mexico or Belize. It's an invictive, but not one used in polite company.
