Well, I have pretty much got Scrap up to speed story line wise. If he doesn't have anything else then we can head back out again.

I was writing a post, but it's filler. Let's move on. John would just want to get to Quinn's early to talk to Finn.

BC- I was thinking more like Lofwyr Nuke, but Orbital Cow works too.

Slip- Aren't you glad I didn't disappoint you?

Eyes- That was an absolutely fantastic post. I loved reading it. I already can't wait to start writing my response post... :vegm:

Wow, thanks all.

And it was only while I was writing that that I noticed how closely Eyes's life parallels my own. Man, now I'm gonna be walking into work tonight expecting to see a pink slip even more than I was this morning. :grinbig:

Good Lord, I even have the backbiting coworker out to get me fired. :sleepy: I better start practicing my hacking skills. :spin:

Slip, Eyes- You’re both up. Let me know if either of you needs any more detail/clarification, before responding, especially you Eyes. :D

Eyes- Heh, well if that’s the case, don’t you wish you had an equivalent of this in your life as well? And since the University is/is becoming such a major part of Eyes’s past, would you please collect what we’ve discussed in the OOC thread so far, add anything you feel is necessary to further flesh it out, and incorporate it into your backstory and/or 20 Questions as you deem appropriate, then send it to me so I can add it to your file? Thanks a lot, let me know if that made sense and if you have any questions or thoughts regarding this request.

Hey now, what have ya'll got against random gorgeous blondes in white suits out of a guy's past? :)

(Psst...Morgannah, what color suit should she have been wearing if I wanted to convince Eyes that she's good?)

And ya know, the scary thing about the OOC threads sometimes is you never know just which comments to take seriously and which ones not to...

Ahh, if my ravings have contained any grain of truth within them I offer my humblest and most serious apologies. In my experience, however, the good guys NEVER wear white and that goes double for suits. Star Wars isn't just a highly-commercialized popular culture, you know....

I would have put Angela in a burlap potato sack and covered her head with a paper bag. *nods firmly*

No, my eyes were green to begin with .. thank you for noticing. :grinbig:

Ha no worries Morgannah. You don’t think I’d really let Eyes have any more insight into Angela than I wanted him to, did you? :grinbig:

I’m just playing along with the running jokes. He’ll uncover more about her in due time…

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

Ahem, I mean, he’ll just have to find out the hard…I mean, he’ll learn. Yeah, that’s it. He’ll learn. ;)

Actually, I put her in a white suit because I was picturing Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct. Crap, maybe I shouldn’t have mentioned that…

And why Morgannah, your eyes are indeed a lovely shade of green! (Although I don’t know why they would be, because Cosmo is HOT!)

LOL! The difficult way, hmm? I have to say, it's been a pleasure reading everyone's respective stories .. especially since I'm in a bit of rp-withdrawal just now. Keep up the good work!

The white suit is a powerful tool in anyone's arsenal (and when that person looks like  Ms Stone, ), never underestimate its power. :D

Call it "professional jealousy," then, maybe? You can also ask any reasonably attractive woman; we may appear to get along with one another but beneath the surface there's at least as much sizing-up and posturing as there is in the men's locker room. Women, especially pretty ones, can be positively vicious when no one's looking.

*looks around suspiciously*

I've said too much ..

No, any man that has had any experience with women knows that Morgannah. :D

And I know all women know it...isn't it something that is taught in those special classes that women go to when they all leave at once to "go to the bathroom"?

Well now that’s an interesting conversation for the OOC thread. We all know women are viciously competitive. What I want to know is, how do women size one another up? Do you ladies have like a checklist you run through for comparison purposes or something? Clothes, body, features, status, spouse/boyfriend/significant other, job, money, etc? How does it work?

Note to self: Get white suit (uh, does it work for guys too?)

Shh!

*clears her throat*

It's absolutely silly to think that women attend classes in the washroom. I mean, it's not like we have hidden doorways to our top-secret installations accessible from any restaurant in any major city. Right? *smiles a bit forcefully* Right?!

Three words for you: Michael Clarke Duncan.

I'm sure there are better examples but that's the one that pops immediately to my mind. Also Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor in Smallville .. that one scene where he's in the Whitehouse. Tasty.

And you should know better than to assign any logical function to the manner in which women operate, Winterrat. Nothing is ever that simple with us. :) A girl can have everything she's ever wanted and still be irrationally jealous of someone else. I guess that's why people keep saying we're, well, irrational. :grinbig:
