From me, I think you've got that ;)
Re Drain and wound modifiers -- that covers you two; and if it's okay by grendel as well, I'll bite my tongue and make it a consensus. Intense rules discussion averted? |

I actually don't mind having a rules discussion, I am just very aware that I tend to rule in favor of things that make the game more lethal. I know that many players do not agree with me in that sense so that I why I voted to leave things as is.
I'm always open to a more gritty system. Re winterrat. You should be set on me. Also, only an accountant could post like that ;) |

Actually, I've reversed my opinion. I am in the process of writing an email, so it looks like we'll be having a discussion after all. Check the GM mail tonight for further details.
And hey, I'm a highly technical writer (and person) that's what they pay me for, after all, not to make the tax forms feel good and look pretty! ;) |

For what it's worth, in this particular case there (probably) won't be any practical difference: -1 modifier regardless, be there two stun squares marked off or one: and even if you enterprise to gain a Moderate stun wound, you'll still be running at -2 either way (3+1 or 3+2 squares).
Of course, that next L stun could be a zinger ... |

Thanks again, grendel! :)
Even if you spend the karma to increase watcher lifespan, would you still have to take drain as though you were conjuring it for at least one hour though? or does the karma completely negate the time modifier? In this case, it makes the difference between taking stun and not. Recap: Virgil didn't regain any stun in the car, but turns out that Dragon and Sybersnake were arguing for long enough for Virgil to regain his breath fully. So you weren't going into the watcher summoning with stun. WinterRat [ Spoiler ]

I know the post is time-stamped after your most recent post Sedna, but I thought it important to list Virgil's actions as the other three ventured down to the alley. He was going to attempt to get some rest (though we'll see how that works out now).
Stun recovery Willpower roll: 10 08 05 04 03 02 (5 successes) If we've worked out the past stun damage issues than Virgil should've one box of stun (though that can be raised if review states otherwise). It will take 12 minutes to recover. You don't realize how careful you have to be about drain recovery until your in LiTS ;) |

:D -- figured as much. (Why do I have the sudden impression that in crunch situations, most active magicians are in a constant state of slight to increasing exhaustion?) So I'll let you decide what to do when the scream cuts in ...
Mechanics note: there are some things that can be successfully interrupted without losing the benefit of what went before, and some things that can't. I'm temp-ruling that recovering stun is one of the things that can be interrupted -- although of course the box isn't recovered until the full elapsed time. In other words, rest time doesn't have to be continuous. |

Sunday karma:
bandit: 1 +1 (GM bonus) = 2 Sentinel: 1 WinterRat: 1 +1 (GM bonus) = 2 (Is there a door or loading dock or such anywhere around? If yes, there would almost have to be an intercom or something attached to it? What would Blaze see?) |

I'm assuming you did take the pistol this time, same as on the first page, but I know you didn't take it for the Salvation run meet. If I'm wrong about this, tell me, and I'll edit.
Oh, and the word is Sperethiel, adapted from the canon root samriel, implying a necessary discomfort. |

... says the player who's just seen Dragon's reaction to an unexpected street kid (gulp!).
Ah well. I've stepped well into it now. Maybe we'll learn something. (Assume we're both observing, but without rubbernecking ;) ) But I'd hate to try breaking into this place, let alone fighting my way into or out of it. |

I'm going with "legit" impatience, alert senses (after all, she's supposed to be looking for the band), and, oh, very definite purpose -- might take me that Simple Action we talked about to shift out of it (say, if there's an attack), but the search itself won't require me to.

That's written on the assumption that there's no imminent threat to Blaze from those two, based on their aura and the way they were holding themselves. (Do you need Psych or other rolls?) If there is an imminent, here-and-now threat (and it would still pick up as that, even if they're just waiting for her to get out of the way), well, there'll be a couple of small differences -- the big one being that she wouldn't get in the way of anything Blaze intends to do about it.
After they separate, Alianna's going to go looking for the band -- and she'll get "lost" on the way (guided by ears, nose, and traces of any auras she'd seen back in the apartment). |

There are no traces if imminent thread to either yourself or Blaze. And btw, those rolls you made for your disguise were nothing short of epic.
Paul- I'm going to wait for your response before I post anything in regards to either you or Sedna, just fyi, since if you for example decide you want her to come along, that would change my posting as well. So you're up. |

Shadowrunner13 - give me a perception check before you post about anything at your apartment. And if you're being sneaky on the approach, give me a stealth roll as well.
